Bled
Begin your quest of Bled with an impressive medieval castle that dates back to the 11th century. Standing proudly on a steep cliff 130 meters above the glacial lake you can enjoy mesmerizing views of the Julian Alps, the Church of the Assumption of Mary on the rock islet and the surrounding nature. Stroll next to the lake and enjoy more breathtaking vistas. Become one with nature, take a ride by traditional Pletna boat, try the famous cream cake or take a swim in summer time before we return to Zagreb.

4.00Mia, our guide, was excellent. Very knowledgeable and very good at giving directions and meeting points. My only complaint would be the length of the stop at Lake Bled - we did not need 3 hours and this just made the day very long!

5.00Very happy we got to experience both the Croatian capital of Zagreb and the neighboring country of Slovenia. Lake Bled was especially beautiful, although three hours there perhaps was a bit too long. Our guide provided great insight into the history of the region and set the tone for an experience that was as educational as it was beautiful.
