Junghee was a great guide and host. She was friendly and enthusiastic as well as being very informative. The group were made to feel comfortable and welcome in her home. Having done cooking classes abroad before, this is the first class where the recipes were made clear and straightforward and she was able to suggest alternative ingredients we could get at home. I've already made the pajeon (pancakes) since coming home and they were a big hit with the family. We got to learn about different parts of Korean culture and some useful phrases to help us with the rest of our trip. I would definitely recommend this tour and class as a great way to experience a different side of Korea away from the usual tourist spots.

I highly recommend this cooking class. This cooking class was the best decision hands down on my travels around South Korea. The host Junghee was super amazing with great personality. Her attention to details of the market we explored which is where a lot of locals go for their fresh foods, down to the meal we all were going to prepare were top notch. All in attendance had a blast getting to know and cook with Junghee. This made the experience so worth it. She even sent us off after the class by checking to see if anyone needed directions to a place. The cooking class I learned how to prepare less food for one. lol. I don’t have my boys living at home with me now so this was good to see how some of my dishes I love to make now in smaller portions. And some of my favourite foods were made! ❤️ Lynn from Canada 🇨🇦

The best experience. Food, culture and language class all in one. Junghee was a fantastic and fun tour guide. Very engaging and getting the group comfortable with each other. Explained throughout the market and had a group member order an item in Korean. Her home is set so that each member of the group has there own cooking station. She photographs throughout and shared the photos. The food was fantastic and she also shared the recipes. Strongly recommend this tour and Junghee.

This experience has changed how we will consider traveling in the future. We will look to do a cooking class at each new country because of how awesome this was. Take the class! You won’t regret it.

An excellent introduction to Korean cuisine. Junghee was an amazing instructor/ host. Met us promptly at the meeting time and took us through Mangwon Markets providing an overview of the markets various food options and local produce. A couple of tasters along the way before she invited us into her home to begin the class. Well paced lesson especially with a full 10 people. The food was fresh and the final product delicious. All the way through see entertained with anecdotes and a bit of food and cultural history as well as a Korean language primer. Junghee followed up after the class with recipes and photos that she had taken throughout the lesson.
