At 9am, your tour guide and driver will sign yor name and meet you at the hotel lobby. After 1.5hrs driving, you will arrive in Longji tickets office and you will stop there to purchse the ticket then use the car again to the Dazhai village.

Longji Rice Terraces

After a two-hour drive you will reach the entrance for the Longji Terraces and stop for 15 minutes and then head to Dazhai village. The Dragon's Backbone Rice Terraces is a splendid agricultural spectacle with a history of more than 650 years. The most eye-catching part of the terrace cluster is the Ping'an Village Rice Terrace, which was the earliest one discovered by tourists and photographers. Numerous narrow rice fields dug along the hill slopes form terraces connected by winding flagstone trails. There are viewing platforms for visitors to view the entire terrace fields built tier upon tier. While you are there you can also experience the minority Zhuang people's traditional way of life. It is quite interesting to help them in the fields, try on their bright-colored ethnical costumes, and visit their unique stilted houses.
