What To Expect
Playa Mismaloya
We start at the meeting point in Zona Romantica, Puerto Vallarta, where our transportation vehicle will pick you up. Then we travel 15 minutes down south on the coastal highway, we arrive at Mismaloya beach where you will see the cute little shops, delicious restaurants, bars and more. once we get on the tour boat we will explain the history of Mismaloya beach and take you cliff jumping [optional] next to the ruins of an old abandoned movie set of the night of the iguana, after we will proceed to go to los Arcos of Mismaloya.

We head straight to one of the best cliff-jumping spots in the area. Whether you want to take a 15-foot jump for a quick thrill or challenge yourself with a higher leap, this stop is all about heart-racing fun. Not into jumping? No worries—you can enjoy the show from the boat or swim in the clear blue waters below! After the jump, we slow things down with an amazing snorkeling session. Dive into the vibrant underwater world where you’ll swim alongside colorful fish and maybe even an eagle ray! We’ll also cruise through the iconic arches and caves, giving you a close-up look at this incredible marine sanctuary. After the action, we’ll take you to a hidden beach only accessible by boat. Here, you can relax on the golden sand, swim in the turquoise waters, or explore the rocky coastline. This is your time to unwind and soak up the natural beauty of Puerto Vallarta’s coastline.

3.00Overall, the experience was okay, but it felt better suited for elderly guests and families with young kids. The cliff jumping portion was very brief—we only had the chance to jump once since the boat included small children and grandparents who weren’t participating. The snorkeling offered a nice variety of fish, but everyone was required to wear life jackets with no option to swim without them. We were told this was mandatory, even though other groups nearby were snorkeling without life jackets, which was frustrating. The small beach stop was beautiful, but when 3–4 boats unload onto the same small beach at once, it starts to feel crowded—more like a resort beach than a secluded spot. Overall, the pace of the tour catered heavily to the slowest participants, which took away from the experience if you’re looking for something more adventurous.

5.00I messed up and showed up a day early for our excursion but they let us join that day anyways. We were guided by Diego, Payin and Cheeto. We felt safe and well taken care of the whole time. We snorkelled and swam through a tunnel at los Arcos and saw a lot of cool fish then went to a private beach and had plenty of drinks and snacks. Hospitality was top notch!

4.00We really loved the jumping/snorkeling tour. Jumped to the paceman from over five meters high, and felt brave afterwards. There were a lot of fish to see under water, though there is not a lot of coral reef. The captain was very calm and the rides were perfect. The leader Maximo spoke perfect English and explained everything well. Highly recommended.

5.00Fantastic Los Arcos, cliff jumping & snorkeling experience with Max as our guide. Gotta admit the cliff jumping was pretty scary - but I'm almost 60, so if I can do it you can definitely do it! Los Arcos islands are gorgeous, the snorkeling was fabulous, and we also saw many species of birds including our footed boobies! We saw tons of fish when snorkeling and even a manta ray! They also took us to a "hidden" beach which was stunning. Our boat captain was excellent too! All in all a spectacular experience!

5.00Came with my husband and 13 year old son and we all loved it! For the cliff diving, they have different heights you can jump from. The snorkeling was amazing. We saw all kinds of different fish and even a sea turtle. Alfonso and Diego were our guides, they both had so much knowledge and were super helpful and friendly. Chito was our captain who was also great! Would highly recommend!!
