Turtle Release Tour is a wildlife conservation program that is operated by Rancho Carisuva for more than 5 years in which you can adopt a baby turtle and help release it into the ocean.
You will not only help in the preservation of the species, but you will also learn about the turtles and their habitat guided by a certified Marine Biologist. Watch as the turtles start a new life in the ocean after being liberated from their nests, and take pride in the fact that you helped them do it.
This is one of the most fascinating experiences you will experience in Cabo!

What To Expect
Rancho Carisuva
Come and visit our lovely ranch, where you can meet our conservations programs: Donkeys and Turtles
Playa Migrino
From July to September in Cabo, Olive Ridley and Black Turtles come to shore to lay their eggs deep in the sand before returning back to sea. The baby turtles hatch about 45 days later, but during this time we protect the nest and take care of the eggs. Our job is to raise the percentage of survival as much as possible. The tour is guided by a marine biologist which brings a fun, educational learning experience where you take part in the release of these baby turtles back into nature.

5.00Amazing experience, totally worth the every minute. The staff is the best, beautiful area and they do it all for conservation and the protection of beautiful sea turtles. We learned so much information from Patricio who you can tell is very passionate about conservation. He taught us so much about turtles. We learned beauty of their birth and the journey to the ocean. Juan was very funny and was welcoming he introduced us to the horses, donkeys and best of all we got to meet their latest addition to the ranch a baby donkey. The tour at 6:30 was perfectly timed to take in the beautiful sunset on the beach and it was the most stunning backdrop for watching the babies make their way to their new home in the ocean. We plan to visit annually as a new family tradition and to do our small part in conservation. I volunteered to help find a turtle nest and I located one and found an egg… then Patricio tossed it to my husband LoL it turned out to be a simulation of what they do at night to find the nests, the eggs I dug up we’re actually ping pong balls it was hilarious but it showed us how hard it is to find and protect the babies. We learned that Sea Turtles are attracted to light of the moon but unfortunately they are also attracted to the bright lights of Cabo’s nightlife and resorts. so we told everyone we met in Cabo if nightclubs and resorts lessened their use of bright spotlights at night it would help stop turtles from being attracted inland towards even more dangerous hazards. They already have enough obstacles to overcome just making it from the nest to the ocean Take the tour it’s worth it’s and you learn how to do your part in conservation. We have a new respect for the life and trials of such a beautiful creature that is vital to our ecosystem. You can’t appreciate beautiful Cabo fully until you take enjoy this beautiful moment. No more plastic bags and less light pollution at night please.

5.00I love anything that’s animals & nature. So getting to see baby sea turtles had me excited, getting to release them onto the beach & see them safely into the ocean is a dream come true. Before you do that, you get a master class in all things sea turtle related. It was fun & informative. Patrick & Juan were incredible teachers, so clearly knowledgeable about the turtles, & truly passionate about what they do. Their excitement & compassion for the animals is infectious! Don’t pass up this once in a lifetime opportunity to interact with baby sea turtles up close & support their conservation efforts

1.00Booked online, received a confirmation but the pick up was a no show. We did not receive this service but were billed full price. Trying to recap our expenses now. Buyer beware. We had read this had happened to other folks but we took a chance and it happened to us as well.
