Playa Migrino
From July to September in Cabo, Olive Ridley and Black Turtles come to shore to lay their eggs deep in the sand before returning back to sea. The baby turtles hatch about 45 days later, but during this time we protect the nest and take care of the eggs. Our job is to raise the percentage of survival as much as possible. The tour is guided by a marine biologist which brings a fun, educational learning experience where you take part in the release of these baby turtles back into nature.

This was an amazing experience! Beautiful sunset and lots of turtles! There was a bit of walking on sand so may be a little challenge for some.

Today’s turtle release was absolutely incredible — one of those experiences that sticks with you forever. Watching the little turtles make their way across the sand and into the waves was both beautiful and emotional. There was such a sense of peace and hope seeing them begin their new journey in the ocean. The guides were wonderful, explaining every step and making us feel part of something truly meaningful. It reminded us how powerful it is to protect and respect nature. Such an amazing day — one we’ll never forget! 🐢🌊💙

This was a fantastic experience. We drove ourselves and it was a little difficult to find at first but not too bad. I was a bit annoyed we were told to come at 430 and had to wait an hour for the shuttles to bring other people. But the actual experience was fantastic. We got to pet some of the friendly donkeys and horses. Then we got to realize 4 turtle babies each. Such a special experience I’m glad I got to be a part of.

This was an unbelievable experience and I would tell anyone going to Cabo to do it. The highlight of the trip. We learned a lot about sea turtles and how they lay their eggs on the Cabo shores. We each got to release multiple turtles. You don't get to hold them FYI. There's nothing like helping newborn sea turtles try to thrive in this world, and helping a great organization. The transfer worked out well. 100% recommend doing.

They called to say there were no turtles born today and canceled our reservation. This was our anniversary and we were very disappointed. They said we could come another day however, all our days were booked with other adventures and we kindly asked for a refund. They did not reply. We asked again and still no response.

This is an exceptional experience with marine biologists and staff who obviously love what they do. Presentation is informative, professional and good bits of humor throughout. This was our 3rd time doing this activity, which speaks volumes as to how much we love it.

The turtle release experience was extremely special! We learned about sea turtles before the release at sunset from marine biologists who run the program. I’ve loved sea turtles for a long time, so this was a bucket list experience for me and it didn’t disappoint! We released baby Olive Ridley sea turtles into the ocean. The marine biologists rely on tourism money to fund this conservation program so this was a great way to support their efforts and come away with an unforgettable experience! Definitely worth doing if you are visiting Cabo!
