Maya Bay
Phi Phi Island Tour’s first glimpse of magic - Maya Bay Phi Phi Maya Bay has been a "must sightseeing location" for hordes of Thailand tourists for decades and as such, has suffered from its overuse. Thankfully the National Park prohibited from 2018 to the end of 2021, any boat from dropping anchor in the bay and alighting at the beach, to allow the gorgeous coral island treasures, wildlife and environment time to recover. You will be one of the first boats to arrive and this awe inspiring bay to enjoy placing the first footprints of the day into it's fine white sand. ***During the months of August and September, the Phi Phi National Park closes Maya Bay to tourists to allow some annual rejuvenation to the ecosystem. We had a lovely time at the Phi Phi sunrise tour. Our guide, Sara was the nicest tour guide I’ve ever met! Our speedboat ride was quite bumpy to the islands as we went on a really windy day and the waves were a bit crazy. However, the crew was very professional and despite the bumpy ride, we felt really safe with them. Watched the sunrise and got to Maya bay around 7:20 am. No crowds, no waiting in line. We had a quick breakfast at Maya bay and by 8:30 am we were already at our first snorkeling stop. By 1:30 pm we were back to Phuket for lunch. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone who wants to experience the beauty of the Phi Phi islands in a calm and rush free way. Thank you Simba Team, khap khun kha!🙏🏼

Yes it’s an early start, but well worth it!! The first stop is Maya Bay. While you still won’t be the first people there (those staying on the phi phis will beat you there), you still beat the crowds. Breakfast is on the beach (coffee, hot cocoa, coconut rice, banana bread…. All so good). The next few stops are swimming and snorkeling. Lots to see in the water. In between there is fresh fruits, sodas, summer rolls, chocolate bars. All really good. Final stop is at a beach for some relaxation. After you return to the marina, we enjoyed a delicious Thai lunch. They also made chicken nuggets and fries for the kids. Shout out to Sara and the crew for making the day so enjoyable.

I loved this tour! Especially as a solo traveler who booked last minute, this excursion was well worth the early start 🌅 we visited many beautiful places before peak crowds, spent an hour at some spots savoring or snorkeling (or floating in my case). Our guide Sarah was amazing, kind and encouraging and our boat crew navigated the open sea with joy and deftness. Plus the food was delicious - from coffee on the beach to spring roll snacks and a buffet lunch accommodating many dietary needs. I needed to bring my own prescription snorkel gear but the team was responsive to all my planning emails ahead of time :)

This was such a fun way to spend the day, exploring beautiful beaches and wonderful snorkeling areas with a small group boat. Sara and team were wonderful guides, keeping us well fed and organized the whole day. From start to finish, the day was so fun! Definitely a highlight of our Phuket trip.

Really good experience. Friendly staff, good food and worth 'paying the extra' over the cheaper companies

Great tour! Joseph and his team were very attentive and at pains. There is more than enough food and drink. If you really want to see Maya Bay then the tour is certainly the best way to do it.

I think there are a lot of positives about this tour. I loved that we were a small group and arriving at Maya Bay very early is the best thing! The breakfast there was also lovely, and the crew all day round was fabulous, we had D with us who was super nice and caring. We did everything was planned and never felt rushed. The snorkelling bit was also fun :) For me the only disappointing part was the last beach we stayed for an hour. I personally didn’t really like that island which I found dirty, so much noise with jet ski everywhere, but also I’ve spotted at the back a depressed monkey chained, which after we saw the ones in Monkey island living freely was a sad view for me.

We had the most incredible day cruising around the islands and I highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting! Not only do they take you to some of the most incredible sights, the snorkeling and swimming in the bays is something you will never forget! Our guide, Momo, was incredible and we had the best day on the water!
