You will also add a twist to these French delicacies choosing from a selection of quinessentially British inspired sweets and desserts to flavour your filling such as zesty lemon tart, Raspberry Ripple and sticky toffee pudding. You’ll leave with a selection of beautifully baked macarons and the confidence to recreate them at home.

What To Expect

Your tutor will take you through step by step to make a batch of French macarons. Skills and techniques include whisking egg whites, making a sugar syrup, making an Italian meringue, macaronage, croutage, adapting recipes, baking, piping, and storage. You will leave with 24 sandwiched macarons.

A lovely evening with a group of friends. Managed to make a whole box of macarons. The teacher was clear with her instructions but also made it fun.

Thank you to all at The cookery studio for hosting my hen party! The macaron masterclass was such a fun class to do while laughing with my girls and drinking fizz! So impressed with how they turned out, so delicious and they look beautiful! I can’t wait to make some more at home and impress everyone with my skills!!
