What To Expect
We pickup the guest from Kathmandu and we take an air conditioned tourist bus to Pokhara. The guest will meet with our trekking guide in Kathmandu who will further accompany the guest. We spend one night in Pokhara. Next day private drive to Kande to start the trip. Hike up the hills. Stay in local tea-houses. Day 1: Tourist bus drive to Pokhara. O/n at a hotel in Pokhara. Day 2: Drive To Kande Drive (1 Hrs) – hike to Pitam Deurali (2100 m) around 3 hours hike. O/n at a tea house. Day 3: Hike to Forest Camp (2550 M) Walking 5-6 Hrs. O/N At Tea House Day 4: Forest Camp (2550 M) - Low Camp (2990 M) and continue walking to high camp (3850m) Walking 7-8 Hrs. O/N At Tea House Day 5: Day Hike To Mardi Himal Base Camp (4500 M) And Return To High Camp (3580 M) Walking 6-7 Hrs. O/N At Tea House Day 6: High Camp (3580 M) - Sidhing (1850 M) Walking 6 Hrs. O/N At Tea House. Day 7: Hike to Lumre (3 hours walk). Drive to Pokhara. Free time in the afternoon to enjoy on your own in Pokhara. O/n at a hotel in Pokhara. Day 8: Air conditioned tourist bus drive to Kathmandu. End of trip.

5.00Yet another successful and memorable trek with Hiking Adventure Treks! After being wowed by the crew are HAT, tagged along the amazing Raju on a Mardi Himal trek last month and can’t say enough. What truly separates HAT from other agencies is that Sajana and Ram who own the company stay on top of things and stay engaged with the clients throughout the trip. They ensure that we are able to adhere to the itinerary and if we are not, they make all necessary changes on the fly. I for instance was able to finish my trek a day early and wanted to stay in Pokhara a day longer. Sajana ensured that my flight tickets, hotel and all the other logistics were taken care of based on my plans. There are many trekking agencies in Nepal. The fact that a close to 10 of us here in Seattle have done trekking with HAT and many of us a repeat customers should say something about just how special HAT is. We simply cannot think of trekking in Nepal with another company. On the onset, it might appear that a job of a trekking company is to work out the logistics, plan the trip, provide good guides and call it good. But in reality, what happens when plans change, someone gets sick, someone needs to get rescued? Not only would I trust HAT for the former, but I would equally trust them for the latter as well.
