What To Expect
Most have heard of David Copperfield and some know of Doug Henning but very few people know the closely guarded secret of Gizmo the Great, the Master Magician of the 1970s. Every great magician has a special creative spark, which they use to develop the most awe inspiring illusions. For those who lack creativity, these secrets can be acquired at a hefty price through the black magic market. You are part of an aspiring team of magicians that sadly lack any imagination, and possess even less money. Fortunately, you discovered the secret of Gizmo the Great and came by some elusive intel detailing his home address. You’ve also managed to confirm that his infamous ‘Book of Tricks’ is secured somewhere within. The Magic Circle is hosting an exclusive event that Gizmo is attending. You have a maximum of one hour to infiltrate his home and steal his Book of Tricks, allowing you to become the greatest magic troupe of all time.

5.00I booked the Magicians Heist escape room for my daughter’s 11th birthday and she and her friends loved the experience from start to finish. Their games master Edi was great, she explained the background story to their room and what the needed to do really well and was on hand to offer clues when needed. The kids had a fab time and we’re thrilled to escape in the nick if time!

5.00We absolutely loved this escape room. So much better than any other one we have been to. Edi was so welcoming, she explained everything in detail and got us very excited to go in and start. The props and little surprises along the way were absolutely brilliant!! Thanks again for the experience and we'll definitely be back soon! X

5.00Excellent Escape Room, one of the best we have done. Such fun puzzles- some pretty tricky but achievable and the staff were excellent, friendly and professional. Room and toilets were spotlessly clean too. Ended up arranging my daughter's 9th birthday in the same room and the staff were fantastic with the kids. I would absolutely recommend for adults and kids alike.

5.00We have done all 3 rooms and loved them all. The hosts are all excellent, and make the experience so enjoyable. For our most recent visit our host was Amber and she was fantastic! Definitely recommended! Just can’t wait for them to add more!

5.00Excellent escape room in Glasgow with good quality props, puzzles and themes. It’s ok the third floor so maybe not the best for people with mobility issues but great when you get there Special shout out to Joe our host who was fantastic at setting the scene. We’ve done a good few escape rooms in Glasgow and this one is right up there, very convenient for a short walk (5 minutes) to the Finneston area which is full of bars and nice restaurants. Great day out!

5.00Fun Escape Room, loads of puzzles which were challenging enough without being frustrating! There were 3 of us who probably did 5 puzzles each, non-linear and some linear. Excellent staff, very friendly and helpful. Good space and clean toilets. Would highly recommend.

5.00This escape room was intended to give three of my nephews something to do for an afternoon. We all really enjoyed it. Our host Lucy was lovely and friendly, and was quick to spot when we needed a bit of a steer on some of the puzzles. We managed to complete the room with just over 2 minutes to spare. I enjoyed the fact that all of the boys managed to solve things by themselves, and that they were all able to get stuck into different puzzles at different times. Some escape rooms only allow you to solve one thing at a time because each step that you solve unlocks another step. This one allowed for us all to be doing things at the same time, and with our mixed age group (7, 8, 14, and 54), that was a big plus. The room itself is beautifully themed. That was probably lost on my nephews, but as a magician and a 70s child, I really appreciated it. The puzzles were varied, interesting, and tied in well with the theme. I am likely to come back and do some of their other rooms, because it was a great experience. One word of warning - the venue is on the top floor and there is no lift, so there are lots of stair to climb to get there. But it's worth it.
