What To Expect

Learn how to play Cantonese Mahjong, a traditional and challenging game that requires strategy, skills and some luck. You'll be guided through the rules and techniques of the game. We took a beginner 101 class with Kate and it was great. We had a lot of fun learning how to play mahjong. Kate made us feel very comfortable, explained all the rules very well and also the historical and cultural context of mahjong. 10/10 do it again. Please do yourself a favour and book this class! We had such a wonderful time doing it together as a family and were all surprised by how much we enjoyed it. Our teacher was absolutely fabulous; generous with her time and incredibly knowledgeable about the game.
