5.00Our guide and driver were both excellent. The guide took exceptional care of everyone on the tour. I would recommend Anna Fazio to everyone interested in an exceptional, one of a kind, tour experience! We all enjoyed her company so much, that we invited her to have lunch with us so that we could learn more of the local culture. Her experiences and knowledge were exciting and awesome to share!

5.00We were grouped with 2 other couples, our guide Marco was able to easily meet everyone's needs. He was informative, casual, and flexible. The pace was very good and we covered several areas with appropriate time in each. Our driver was excellent as well. Having the driver allowed Marco to focus on the tour instead of traffic.

5.00If at all possible, ask for Anna as your guide. We were warmly greeted by Anna. So engaging and personable - a lovely and incredibly knowledgeable local. Anna announced: "I know everyone" and she made several phone calls during the day to ensure our tour was even more special. She showed us Castelmola, and the towns of Taormina and Messina. Lunch was at one of her favorite places in Taormina which she phoned to ask if they would keep the kitchen open for us - and they did. ( A benefit of "knowing everyone".) It was a "set tour" but with many extra stops and visits along the way added by Anna. Overall, a delightful and memorable introduction to Sicily for our group!

1.00Dreadful in every possible way! The instructions on where to meet our guide (Ernesto) were incorrect. Our reserved time of 7:30 was changed to 9:15 and then evolved into 9:45 as everybody was given the wrong instructions on where to meet. The van was dilapidated and felt unsafe. The AC did not work and the streets were very windy. The driver handled it well, but our guide was belligerent and argumentative. Confronting us when we met him at the second gate. “He told me I obviously was not listening and could not hear!” He then led our group into a highly trafficked street with buses and cars - where we were met with honking horns and screeching tires! Others had the same experience - one guest even commented he would not be receiving any tips (which he did not). The price being offered on the date we took the tour was 1/3 of what we paid per for each ticket. He left us for 2 hours in a tourist trap area with no recommendations on what to eat or see. By the time we returned our guide was slurring his words. The pictures shown on the excursion were NOT what we saw on the excursion. I was never so happy for an excursion to end!!!!
