Immerse yourself in pristine nature: a steep, forested mountain, high above the Salish Sea. Ascend the spiral ramp to peak adventure. At 250 m above sea level, the tower offers some of the best views on Vancouver Island, including a sweeping panorama of Mt. Baker, Finlayson Arm, the Saanich Peninsula, and islands in two countries. Explore the West Coast from a whole new perspective and then choose your descent with a return walk down the ramp or take the fast route on our Spiral Slide. The arbutus, or Pacific madrone, appears wonderfully exotic with its smooth chartreuse wood covered by reddish, papery bark. It grows on rocky coastlines and, in spring, bears white flowers that smell like honey. In autumn, red berries help feed many of the local birds and wildlife. Coming down from the tower on the 20 metre spiral slide might be the only thing as awesome as the view from the top. Go ahead, take as many turns as you like – we’ll understand.

Amazing! We loved it! Was a beautiful day and the views were wonderful. Glad we stopped in. We were there in October - so it wasn't a huge crowd that day.

We enjoyed our trip to Malahat SkyWalk despite the weather. Unfortunately, the day we visited Malahat SkyWalk it was raining with very low clouds and poor visibility. Regardless, we took photos of the driftwood art, the climb up the tower, and had fun on the slide down.

The views are breathtaking and the people are so friendly. The slide was quite an experience. If I lived here, I would get an annual pass.

Ignore the people who said it’s a bumpy slide down. It is not! I am a 65+ woman who had back surgery two years ago and I had absolutely no problems coming down the slide. My husband enjoyed it so much that he climbed the tower two more times and slid down three times. He loved it. We really enjoyed the elevated walkway and the wood sculptures along the way are absolutely beautiful. We read all the informative slides and they were very helpful. The view from the top of the tower is magnificent. We were not expecting such a really enjoyable day. I recommend it for everyone. You will not regret it.

It is a nice walk, up very high. Beautiful view with the option to take a slide down. I managed to somehow tip over and hit my head on the way down, but would not have given up the experience for anything. I did call and check the website for Malahat. Good thing as the 1st pickup spot was not used. It was a very nice bus there and back complimentary from them.

A nice hiking trail leads through the forest until you reach the lookout point. It takes around 15 to 20 min. Then it goes up in circles. The view is wonderful, you have a great view. But then it’s time to get back to the car after just 10-20 min. We didn't use the slide and nobody wanted to jump on the nets. For this then relatively short outlook, this was simply too much money for us and we would not do it again.
