Immerse yourself in pristine nature: a steep, forested mountain, high above the Salish Sea. Ascend the spiral ramp to peak adventure. At 250 m above sea level, the tower offers some of the best views on Vancouver Island, including a sweeping panorama of Mt. Baker, Finlayson Arm, the Saanich Peninsula, and islands in two countries. Explore the West Coast from a whole new perspective and then choose your descent with a return walk down the ramp or take the fast route on our Spiral Slide. The arbutus, or Pacific madrone, appears wonderfully exotic with its smooth chartreuse wood covered by reddish, papery bark. It grows on rocky coastlines and, in spring, bears white flowers that smell like honey. In autumn, red berries help feed many of the local birds and wildlife. Coming down from the tower on the 20 metre spiral slide might be the only thing as awesome as the view from the top. Go ahead, take as many turns as you like – we’ll understand.

Amazing views and cool experience. This is a must when in the area. I have done some difficult hikes to experience this type of view. This is an easy trek to the top.

An awesome experience! Walking among the tree tops in a beautifully constructed boardwalk and an easy spiral walk to the top of the skywalk structure - plenty if room for everyone. The views were spectacular and the slide ride to the bottom was a blast - fun was had by all!

Exceptional tourist attraction. For all abilities. The walk up, the views and then the slide down (which is optional).

We enjoyed walking on the elevated boardwalk to the Spiral Tower (we did the return hike on the forest floor). One highlight of our visit was viewing the driftwood sculptures by artist Tanya Bub. The view from atop the Spiral Tower was nice; however, it was extremely windy at the top. The tower is definitely not for people who are afraid of heights. I thought that I would be adventurous and take the slide down to the bottom; however, beware, this is not a good decision if you have back or neck issues. Every joint (there are lots) inside the slide was felt on the way down! And, you are travelling quite fast. Ouch! Overall, the admission fee is too high for what the visit entails. Also, the price for food and ice cream what ridiculously high.
