The Malta International Fireworks Festival:
Join us on this evening cruise to the Valletta Grand Harbour and get ready to witness history unfold in a blaze of colour and sound.
Each night has been such a beautiful display of colour and coordination, and the closing night is bound to be a true spectacle.
We shall have two departure points one in St. Paul's Bay and another from Sliema with different departure times. Off to the harbour we go and drop anchor. Here we will wait as the fireworks set off from a barge at sea - having an amazing view
Food and drinks are available on the boat throughout the cruise.

The Malta International Fireworks Festival will be taking place in April 2025. Each night promises to be a beautiful display of colour and coordination, and the closing night is bound to be a true spectacle.
Watch the fireworks from the Grand Harbour Valletta as we anchor at sea. The fireworks will be set off from a floating barge just opposite us. Celebrate the Malta International Fireworks Festival 2025 from the best seat in the house, the sea. Cruise into Valletta’s magnificent Grand Harbour and anchor for breathtaking front-row views of a spectacular pyromusical display, where fireworks explode in perfect rhythm with music against the historic skyline. Each night showcases dazzling colour, precision, and creativity, with the grand finale promising an unforgettable show. Departure Points: • Bugibba Jetty, Dawret il-Gzejjer, St. Pauls Bay - Departure Time is strictly at 17:15 - Meeting time is at 17:00. • The Strand, Sliema (opposite side of the road to "Londoners Pub") - Departure Time is strictly at 18:15. Meeting time is from 17:45.

4.00Exceptional fireworks by duration and technology. Warning, point 2 of meeting is wrong (the restaurant no longer exists under this name and the street number is incorrect), we were on the port very early but finally at the meeting point in the last because of this error, so not very well placed.

3.00Fantastic Display could do without it continually not being broken and gaps between setting them off, Boat set off before Fireworks finished meaning the view was interupted

5.00Very nice event with 3+ hours of firework shows. There will be more events during the summer, but i am not sure if they will be similar to what we saw during the closing of the festival on the 3rd of May. If you are planning a visit to Malta, it is definitely worth looking out for any such firework show.

3.00Good trip but the pieces of wood on the floor was dangerous, one of my party fell over them and hurt herself, staff was good and did help her but all in all a good trip.

5.00Hornblower put us in a great position for the fireworks in the grand harbour. It was late starting and really slow start, but once it got going the display was stunning and drones were brilliant

5.00No favourite moment as it was all superb; the trip, the food, the wine, the live music, the fireworks, the night sky to look at the stars and the planets, the company and all for 20EUR!!! It wasn't Arnie in Terminator that first coined the phrase 'I'll Be Back'... It was Hornblower customers. Absolutely fantastic night!

5.00Yet another amazing night on Hornblower! 20EUR for an evening's live entertainment including a live singer onboard who was superb! I'd upload a video but unfortunately Tripadvisor can't display it as it was too large so you'll just have to see some of my pics. The fireworks were brilliant but word of advice is make sure your mobile phone and camera are FULLY CHARGED or you'll get annoyed like I did, too many amazing photos and videos to record which meant I almost run out of power and memory for the Grand Finale! After the fireworks, the top deck heading back to Bugibba had the added bonus off total darkness which meant a chance of looking at the stars & planets with little light. pollution. I took a friend and it's a memory they'll never forget. See you next year!

5.00Have been going on this boat for many ears also with my children good value for money the skipper was very nice and explxains the history when we are sailing along the water food on board and toilets as well please try this cruise you will really enjoy it
