The Three Cities is a collective description of
the three fortified cities of Cospicua, Vittoriosa
and Senglea. During the tour you will drive
past Cospicua, you will then arrive in Vittoriosa. The third city Senglea is also called Civitas Invicta because it managed to resist the Ottoman invasion at the Great Siege of 1565.
You will then drive to the 1743 ir-Razzett l-Antik Qormi. The wine
tasting tour commences with a historical introduction amongst
original artefacts, followed by an explanation about the process of
how the locally grown grapes are pressed, fermented and eventually
transformed into wine. The wine sampling is held in the restaurant, where trained staff guide guests through a wine tasting session to sample different Maltese wines accompanied by a selection of local savouries like Maltese bread and cheese.

Michael our local guide was so lovely and had a lot of good knowledge and history about the places we were visiting. He was funny, sweet and very engaging as a guide. The host at the wine tasting was also so lovely and knew a lot about wine in the region and served us some lovely options with a delicious Maltese antipasti. All In all, a lovely tour.

Well organised tour. First hour was picking up others from hotels as we were first pick up but this did give us a bus tour of parts of Malta we had not seen. Guide was very informative on walking tour which lasted an hour. Good selection of Maltese food along with 3 wines to taste. Again the guide at wine tasting was very knowledgeable. Well worth doing this tour

The mini bus stopped after about a 20 minute drive and let us all out to pick up a different coach for our specific tour, which wasn’t in the itinerary and probably should have been, because we weren’t expecting that. Some people were starting to get a bit cold waiting in the shade. The tour of the city and the venue for the wine tasting were very good and there was a generous selection of food. There were 3 wines to taste, all good, and the price was reasonable too if you wanted to buy a bottle of any of the wines tasted

Picked up 8.30 an hour later others joined other participants we were on our way with guide Marko. Marko was lively enthusiastic and guided us through the narrow streets imparting knowledge. A 20 min coffee/free time break then back to the bus on our way to wine tasting. The nibbles of cheese, meats, olives etc were great but the three wines tasted were 17 to 25 euro ...overpriced for the quality. After boarding the bus for return journey were shocked when bus stopped and called our hotel...we asked where...pointed down a street ...it was no where to be seen...we are good walkers but pick up and drop off should be exactly that ! We were back by 1.15 Very little time spent in three cities....we would have preferred longer in three cities...actual guide time was small

Great half day tour, Mario the guide was informative and funny . Although it was raining it was only a short walking tour about 1 hour , then bus to a wine restaurant for quite a few snacks - more like a light lunch and 3 small glasses of wine. Very good value for money

This tour was perfectly pleasant, but not quite as special as we’d hoped. The main focus is a roughly one-hour walking tour of Vittoriosa, which is nice enough but fairly light in depth. The guide shared some interesting facts and points of interest, though their somewhat idiosyncratic English made things a little hard to follow at times. Overall, there wasn’t much of a clear or coherent narrative to help visitors really grasp Malta’s extraordinarily rich and layered history. It was also a bit awkward to overhear the guide and bus driver openly complaining about another guide being late. That said, the Vittoriosa visit did include entry to a beautifully restored historic house, which was genuinely fascinating and a highlight of that part of the tour. The food and wine tasting that followed was generous and enjoyable, if a bit plain. The buffet of traditional Maltese foods was plentiful and could easily stand in for lunch: sundried tomatoes, peppered cheese, fresh breads, broad bean dip, sausage, and more. The wine tasting included a white, a rosé, and a red, all solid entry-level introductions to Maltese wine. The absolute standout of the entire experience was the sommelier who led the wine tasting. He was exceptionally knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly passionate, and his explanations added real depth and value to the experience. There was also an excellent opportunity to buy wine afterwards. In addition to the tasting wines, some prestige bottles were available, and the sommelier gave thoughtful, expert advice. Prices were very good too. We bought the beautiful 101 Marsovin Brut Rosé and the Ġuże Passito dessert wine for €30 and €28 respectively, both of which we later saw at the airport for at least €20 more per bottle. All in all, a decent afternoon. If you’re particularly interested in Maltese wine, the information and buying opportunity makes it worthwhile, but don’t expect a deeply immersive historical tour of the Three Cities.

This was a great tour. Mark was amazing. He explained everything we saw very well. The wine tasty was great too. Good food and great wine. I would recommend this tour to anyone that does not want to walk for a little bit. The walking isn't bad but i could see someone with mobility issues having a little trouble. Great tour!!

We were very happy with the tour, the pick up was on time, the tour guide Daiwa gave us a lot of information. We walked through the amazing old narrow streets and the wine tasting was also great!

A steep one hour walk through the three cities. Although several “rest” stops in between, it is not for those with mobility issues.
