When you find yourself in Metro Manila for a day or two, heading out to explore can feel daunting. The chaos, the heat, the noise—it’s enough to make even seasoned travelers pause. But that’s exactly where the real adventure begins.
This isn’t just any curated food crawl. It’s not a staged night market built for Instagram feeds. No. This is a Manila street food tour as it truly is—alive, gritty, sizzling, and unapologetic. Loud. Sweaty. Deliciously chaotic. If you’re lucky, a tricycle will be your ride and the smoky aroma of grilled pork your guide.
For travelers looking for authentic things to do in Manila, this experience is the perfect mix of culture and cuisine. Guided by a local, you’ll dive into a crash course in Philippine street food—from skewered barbecue and deep-fried snacks to hearty stews, soups, and sweet Filipino desserts.
Bring an open mind and an empty stomach, and get ready for one of the most flavorful food experiences in Manila.

Chloe was our guide and we couldn’t have been happier with our experience. No one else booked the same time as we did so we got a personal tour. She was very polite, funny, informative and caring. She knew the history behind all the food stops and was able to answer all of our questions. My favourite spot was the second stop, the bbq skewers. Chloe made a game of guess what animal and what part of the animal. I won’t spoil the answers but it was really fun and delicious. Overall it was a really good tour and I highly recommended experiencing it. Hopefully with Chloe.

Really fun and exciting tour lead by Chloe, who lead us through a local neighborhood to try Filipino food. Without another tourist in sight she took us to various stalls and shops and explained all the food we were trying and how we should order it if we were on our own. I really enjoyed the experience and would definitely recommend it to anyone else who wanted a chance to eat local food without feeling overwhelmed by the choices!

Great experience! I recommend this tour! Our guide, Chloe, was very nice and very knowledgeable. There is so much food included, make sure you arrive hungry. I also really like the Jeepney and side-by-side ride on the way to the different food venues.

Chloe led an amazing tour through sweet, savory, and mystery - great food, knowledgeable guide, excellent English speaker. We had fun with food trivia and Pokémon trivia throughout. Cannot recommend the tour highly enough. Come very, very hungry and leave very, very full. There is a dearth of restrooms over the three hours, but it was manageable.

Chloe was so hospitable and was very engaging with the group. It was a great way to learn more about the Filipino culture and try traditional flavours and delicacies. It was a very personal experience where we met some new interesting people along the food trail.
