When you find yourself in Metro Manila for a day or two, heading out to explore can feel daunting. The chaos, the heat, the noise—it’s enough to make even seasoned travelers pause. But that’s exactly where the real adventure begins.

This isn’t just any curated food crawl. It’s not a staged night market built for Instagram feeds. No. This is a Manila street food tour as it truly is—alive, gritty, sizzling, and unapologetic. Loud. Sweaty. Deliciously chaotic. If you’re lucky, a tricycle will be your ride and the smoky aroma of grilled pork your guide.

For travelers looking for authentic things to do in Manila, this experience is the perfect mix of culture and cuisine. Guided by a local, you’ll dive into a crash course in Philippine street food—from skewered barbecue and deep-fried snacks to hearty stews, soups, and sweet Filipino desserts.

Bring an open mind and an empty stomach, and get ready for one of the most flavorful food experiences in Manila.

Brilliant food tour with our knowledgeable guide, Chloe. We tried so many delicious Filipino delicacies and learnt a lot about the food culture in Manila, which gave us the insight to be more brave in our subsequent travels. A bonus was getting to ride in a tricycle and a jeepney! Highly recommend.

Loved this food tour! Led by Chloe, we went to maybe a half dozen or more places, and we ate SO MUCH FOOD! There were 9 of us in the group, and half the fun is just chitchatting with everyone. And Chloe was great fun, interesting and full of stories and facts about Philippine cuisine. The tour lasted around 3.5 hours, and there was just a little bit of walking. We took a motorbike ride as well as a jeepney ride, and those were experiences unto themselves. This will easily be the best thing we do in Manila.

Chloe was a fantastic tour guide on our Filipino street food tour. From the moment we met her, she was incredibly sweet, welcoming, and genuinely excited to share her love for local food and culture. The entire tour was thoughtfully organized — every stop flowed smoothly, and she made sure we were comfortable, informed, and never rushed. Chloe explained each dish with great detail and enthusiasm, and her recommendations were spot on. You can tell she truly cares about creating a memorable experience. We left full, happy, and grateful for such a wonderful guide. Highly recommend booking with Chloe!

Make sure you are hungry. Really really make sure you are hungry. Chloe and Nel were great, alot of historical information about food, culture, and even some around karaoke. We tried a whole host of food, which are considered appetizers, but we're still filling, would suggest saving some room till the last part to enjoy the final meal. And if you have it in you, get your singing hat on! Would recommend to anyone visiting Manila.

This tour was so much fun and our guide, Chloe, was wonderful. We are in our late 50s while our son is early 20s and we all had a really fun experience. We have travelled a lot all over the world and done many food tours. This was one of the best. Highly recommend.

The street food tour was great, we got to taste lots of different dishes that we definitely would not have tried had we not done the food tour. If you are food fans like we are then that would have been a real miss! Our guide, Chloe, was also great, she explained a lot about the foods, which were both sweet and savoury and we also got to learn more about the culture and the history of the Philippines. As part of the tour, we got two short rides in a tricycle and a Jeepney (local bus) and it was good to travel in this common mode of transport used by many in the Philippines. All in all, a great tour. Choke was exceptional and nothing was too much trouble, she even assisted in helping us get a taxi back to our hotel.
