When you find yourself in Metro Manila for a day or two, heading out to explore can feel daunting. The chaos, the heat, the noise—it’s enough to make even seasoned travelers pause. But that’s exactly where the real adventure begins.
This isn’t just any curated food crawl. It’s not a staged night market built for Instagram feeds. No. This is a Manila street food tour as it truly is—alive, gritty, sizzling, and unapologetic. Loud. Sweaty. Deliciously chaotic. If you’re lucky, a tricycle will be your ride and the smoky aroma of grilled pork your guide.
For travelers looking for authentic things to do in Manila, this experience is the perfect mix of culture and cuisine. Guided by a local, you’ll dive into a crash course in Philippine street food—from skewered barbecue and deep-fried snacks to hearty stews, soups, and sweet Filipino desserts.
Bring an open mind and an empty stomach, and get ready for one of the most flavorful food experiences in Manila.

This food tour is so much fun! You get enough food to feed a village. So many different kind of delicious snacks, meals and drinks. You get to walk around a local neighborhood, ride in a tricicle and really enjoy the Philippine hospitality. Chloe was our guide on the tour and she is great. So sweet and helpful. We had a really good time. Highly recommend this tour!!!

An amazing time exploring local foods, and the culture of Manila. With an incredibly welcoming and charismatic tour guide. You get to try a plethora of flavors, cooking styles, and even some drinks in several locations that are authentic and local. Nel, our guide, was amazing, took care of us, chatted with us and made us feel incredibly comfortable in this experience. If you want to enjoy the complex and delicious flavors of Manila, she is the right person to guide you. We highly recommend this experience.

While I had to saddle up to try a few adventurous foods, this was an amazing way to learn about the culture and try authentic cuisine. I also felt socially safe enough to spit anything out or not eat the rest of it if I didn’t like it. I showed the list of foods I tried to my Filipino colleagues, and even they were impressed and proud! It was such a great time with, especially good fun at the bar stop! My tour guide, Nel, was awesome! Felt like I was hanging out with my sister 🫶

My husband and I really enjoyed this food tour. Our tour guide, Jian, was very informative and personable. As others had recommended, don’t eat before the tour because you will be stuffed. We highly recommend this tour when visiting Manila.

We had a great with Chloe on this tour. A good selection of local food and so fun travelling like the locals do. Finished up in a karaoke bar with some Philippino uncles for singing and stayed there for hours after the tour finished. Good times. ❤️

BEST. FOOD TOUR. EVER. I don't want to reveal too much as there are some great additional parts to this tour but I will say if you are going to do one tour in Manila, make it this one. Chloe is wonderful and the food is all fantastic. Come hungry. I have never had a food tour that offered this many different foods or in the quantities. This is a 3 hour banquet. I was stuffed. If I could score more than 5 stars I would. This is a must do.

I’m from the Philippines, but have not visited in nearly 14 years. I wanted to re-acclimate into the Filipino culture and food scene and glad I chose this street food tour. Chloe was kind, informative, and highly engaging. She provided interesting insights regarding the food we ate that provided more context. I also liked how she integrated use of tricycles and jeepneys for a few food stops. I have tried many food tours throughout the world via Viator and highly recommend this one and if possible, make sure you request Chloe for your guide!
