When you find yourself in Metro Manila for a day or two, heading out to explore can feel daunting. The chaos, the heat, the noise—it’s enough to make even seasoned travelers pause. But that’s exactly where the real adventure begins.
This isn’t just any curated food crawl. It’s not a staged night market built for Instagram feeds. No. This is a Manila street food tour as it truly is—alive, gritty, sizzling, and unapologetic. Loud. Sweaty. Deliciously chaotic. If you’re lucky, a tricycle will be your ride and the smoky aroma of grilled pork your guide.
For travelers looking for authentic things to do in Manila, this experience is the perfect mix of culture and cuisine. Guided by a local, you’ll dive into a crash course in Philippine street food—from skewered barbecue and deep-fried snacks to hearty stews, soups, and sweet Filipino desserts.
Bring an open mind and an empty stomach, and get ready for one of the most flavorful food experiences in Manila.

This tour was an amazing opportunity to try some great foods that I normally wouldn't, as well as some that I'd order anytime. Jian was made for this job. He was friendly, funny, & informative. The rule is that you just have to take at least one bite of everything. We tried some foods that were somewhat out of the ordinary for what we usually eat, but my friend and I (both picky eaters in our own ways) both found new things that we really liked! I would definitely recommend this tour to try some great food, see the area, and have a fun time!

We had a 24 hr layover and we didnt know how to spend it. We booked this tour and it was great. It started at 3pm from the pick up point. We were a group of 6, Chloe our tour guide was very nice, she arranged for us to ride in a jeepney and also one of those trikes. We visited multiple local vendors and tried some yummy food. It included a bottled water, a tea that I think was called Gulaman and a couple of local beers at the end of the tour. My husband and I really enjoyed it

Plenty of interesting food to try out. Too much food to be able to finish really, so do not eat it all up at the beginning. Chloe our guide was fantastic, warm and attentive throughout. Not everyday you get to walk through the local streets like this.

Nel is a walking encyclopedia with a heart of gold and the vibe of your coolest friend. I learned a ton, laughed even more, and by the end, I was ready to beg her to adopt me. Just book the tour already—you’ll thank me later.

Had a great time with Chloe. She made the whole experience amazing. I tried foods I would have never had while on the food tour. The tour was well paces with authentic experiences and places to sit and cool down. There was a great mix of sweet and savory foods and anything you didn't finish as a group they gave to the homeless or staff of the establishment so nothing went to waste. Would highly recommend.
