Chullpas de Ninamarca

We will begin the journey with a pickup from your hotel at the scheduled time. Your first stop will be at the Ninamarca Chullpas, fascinating pre-Inca funerary towers that reveal the mysteries of ancient Andean civilizations. After exploring this unique archaeological site, we will continue our scenic drive towards the breathtaking Manu National Park, one of the world’s most biodiverse natural reserves.

You will travel through the mystical cloud forest, a paradise of lush nature and exotic wildlife. Along the way, you will spot delicate orchids, colorful mountain toucans, and the vibrant Andean cock-of-the-rock, Peru’s national bird. This unique ecosystem is also home to rare and endangered species. During guided walks, you’ll have the chance to search for playful monkeys and immerse yourself in the incredible biodiversity of the Amazon.

During the guided nature walk, you will experience the different ecological zones of the Peruvian jungle. Explore the lush cloud forest, where you can observe a wide variety of exotic birds, including the striking Andean cock-of-the-rock, colorful quetzals, and many other Amazonian species. Along the way, you may also encounter playful monkeys and enjoy the incredible biodiversity that makes the Peruvian rainforest one of the most extraordinary ecosystems on Earth.

You will be accompanied by your professional bilingual guide will accompany you, sharing fascinating insights into the secrets of the Amazon jungle. Along the way, you will learn about the unique wildlife and exotic plants that make this region so extraordinary. During the tour, you will see animals such as the camungo, hoatzin, and tapir.

You will visit the beautiful Machuhuasi Lagoon, where you can enjoy a peaceful ride on traditional wooden rafts while observing a variety of wildlife, including exotic birds, impressive alligators, and the world’s largest rodent, the capybara. The rest of the day will be dedicated to guided jungle walks, giving you the chance to explore deeper into the Amazon rainforest and discover its hidden wonders.

At night, you will go on a nighttime exploration walk in the middle of the jungle of Manu National Park, always accompanied by your guide. You will be able to see incredible animals such as snakes, poisonous frogs, insects, and many more. All of this will be done under the careful supervision of your experienced guide.

Early in the morning, around 5 a.m., we will set out in search of more adventure. Today we will go to see the majestic colorful parrots that feed on a clay wall full of minerals. Your guides will explain each animal and the secrets of medicinal plants to us. All of your guides are biologists.
