The jungle path itself is incredibly rich and full of hidden gems that you’d easily miss without a knowledgeable local guide like Yara. I’m so grateful for ours – not only was the guide warm and welcoming, but her passion and deep knowledge of the plants, animals, and history of the area made the whole journey come alive. It’s not just a walk in the jungle – it’s a full-on adventure, where every step reveals something new and awe-inspiring. From learning about medicinal plants to spotting wildlife and hearing stories about the abandoned eco-estate, this experience stays with you long after it’s over. 5.00I work at a travel agency and we have hired Yariela twice to do the Punta Uva hike and kayaking tour. The first group was just 4 people and the second was 9. In both groups, this tour was one of the highlights of their 11-day experience across Costa Rica and Panama. Yariela’s knowledge of local flora and fauna, her professionalism paired with friendliness and her passion for showing people the beauty of the area shines through in her work. We have multiple tours planned for the next year and will be including Yariela’s tour in all of them. 10/10!!!

5.00Yara’s tour to Punta Mona was truly special. You can feel her passion for nature in every step — from the jungle trails to the hidden beaches and the magical stories behind each place. My fav part was to try exótic fruits in the farm. I recommend Yara, She’s someone who shares her heart and knowledge with so much love and authenticity. We ended the day with a peaceful boat ride along the coast… it honestly felt like a dream. If you’re looking for more than just a tour — this is it.

5.00This was one of the most magical hikes I’ve ever done. Deep jungle, wild beaches, fresh fruits straight from the trees, and an incredible viewpoint, where we had some fresh coconuts The boat ride back along the coast was the perfect ending. Thanks Yara Looking forward to come back to Caribe

5.00Yara is a fantastic guide! She is very knowledgeable and pointed out multiple wildlife sightings that we wouldn’t have noticed on our own. We saw sloths, iguanas, parrots, hermit crabs, and even an octopus! Yara arranged for fresh coconuts for us on our hike which were so refreshing. It was an incredible experience hiking to Punta Mona and seeing the eco-farm, we tried jackfruit, cacao, and had the most amazing homemade chocolate ice cream. Overall a great experience and a must do activity in the Caribe.

5.00Yara is one of the smartest and nicest tour guides we’ve ever had. She knew so much about the environment and was able to answer all of our questions. We were so excited when we were able to get a tour from Yara the next day too! On the first day she guided us through a hike on the beautiful coast and on the second day, an awesome kayak ride where we saw monkeys, sloths, and turtles. I highly recommend Yara for anyone’s Costa Rican tour guide.

5.00Great service and a very kind teacher! We arrived today at Puerto Viejo and were walking at Punta Verde beach and were talking to the nice surfing teacher. This surfing lesson is taught by a very kind and good teacher
