This was the highlight of our family’s trip to Georgia. We had two adults and 2 kids ages 9-11, and we were all captivated by the way our tour guide, Jessica, brought history to life. We unfortunately had cold, rainy, weather - but that still didn’t ruin our experience. Jessica did an amazing job highlighting the impact the community has had on the civil rights movement, as well as the struggles facing the Old Fourth Ward. A trip to Atlanta isn’t complete without this walking tour!

An informative and moving walking tour of the MLK historic sites in Atlanta. The tour was well paced, giving enough time at each stop to absorb the significance of the place without feeling rushed. Our guide Jessica was excellent — knowledgeable, passionate about the subject, and genuinely engaging throughout. Her friendly manner made the experience feel personal rather than just a history lesson. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Atlanta.

We had a top notch tour led by Jen. Jen brought such great context through her skilled storytelling approach. There were so many connections I was unaware of that helped to truly connect the dots of how Dr King was able to actualize his vision. I was emotionally moved and educated all at once. I had my 10 and 12 yr old great niece and nephew with me who were uncharacteristically quiet on the tour but later could not stop recalling what they learned. They said the day was really a fun way to learn about the civil rights movement. For me that was mission accomplished!

The tour was wonderful. Jessica was knowledgeable, personable and just fun to talk to. The couple set to join us dropped out at the last minute and I ended up getting a solo tour. I learnt a lot, saw some parts of history and felt that I experienced something different and really incredible. Jessica structured the tour well and we ended on a poignant and powerful note. It was my first day in Atlanta and it was a memorable day.

I took the tour on Feb 14, 2026. Jessica was an excellent guide. Very knowledgeable, she provided us with great details of each corner of Sweet Auburn. Great storyteller. This tour is very special and Jessica handled it with the spirit and the respect it deserves.
