  I really enjoyed the Materuni waterfalls, coffee tour with lunch as a solo traveler. It was fun, informative, and very hands-on, from roasting to tasting the coffee. The local lunch was delicious and made the experience even better. Highly recommended for a relaxed half-day tour.

  We had a great half-day trip to Materuni with the waterfall visit, coffee tour, and lunch. The walk to the waterfall was beautiful, and learning how local coffee is made from bean to cup was a fun, hands-on experience. The lunch was fresh and delicious, and the whole trip was well paced and relaxing. A perfect way to experience local culture and nature in a short timehighly recommended.

  This was an amazing experience. Charles Joseph was a fantastic guide. He and a driver took me to a village in Chagga lands where I got to see first hand how arabica coffee was grown. Songs were sung as we roasted and ground the coffee beans, and the brew itself was delicious. Afterward Charles led me to the Materuni waterfall, which was stunning and a refreshing place to rest after a comfortable hike. The Chagga coffee experience is a real highlight—hands-on, fun, and surprisingly delicious, especially when you get to roast and brew the coffee yourself. The village feels welcoming and authentic, and the views of Mount Kilimanjaro on a clear day are the cherry on top. A relaxed, memorable experience that gives you a genuine taste of local life near Moshi.

  We did the Materuni Waterfall hike and coffee experience as a group of friends, and it was honestly one of the highlights of our trip. The hike itself was beautiful and not too difficult—just the right mix of adventure and scenery. The walk to Materuni Waterfalls was scenic and refreshing, passing through beautiful greenery and local villages. When we reached the waterfall, the view was breathtaking. The cool mist, powerful flow of water, and peaceful surroundings made it the perfect place to relax and take photos. The coffee tour was both fun and educational. We learned the entire process of making coffee from the bean to the cup and even got to participate in roasting and grinding the beans ourselves.
