Blue Bay Marine Park
Once you arrive at Blue Bay Beach, you will begin to understand where the name “Blue Bay” came from: the water is a multitude of shades of blue. From the beach, you’ll embark on a glass bottom boat trip to the famous Blue Bay Marine Park. The marine park is arguably the best location for snorkelling in Mauritius. With snorkelling gear provided, you’ll be able to discover the abundance of colourful tropical fish, including the trumpet fish, diverse coral formations and other marine creatures that call this park home.
Gris Gris Beach
While most of Mauritius is surrounded by coral reefs, giving us the calm lagoon the island is famous for, the southern part of the island is where there is a break in the reef. At Gris Gris, you will be able to admire the rugged scenery of big, powerful waves crashing on the stunning cliffs. A few metres away, you will see La Roche qui Pleure, a natural rock formation that resembles a person crying when the waves hit it.

We went for a great snorkeling experience at Blue Bay Marine Bay, with good equipment in the lovely clear blue sea. The crew threw plenty of bread in to surround us with fish. The glass bottom boat gave you a view over the reef. Our trip organiser Gr Kessaven and driver Prakash had kindly listened to our request to skip St Aubin Rhumerie and a local restaurant. This gave us more time at La Vanille Nature Park. We had a lovely meal in 'Le Crocodile Affeme' restaurant (I would recommend the Crocodile Platter). We fed numerous Giant Tortoises (food was 75 Mur), which was great. Then stayed for the 1430 Crocodile feeding show, which was very entertaining. I would suggest drivers try to get to La Vanille before the 1130 first show, or leave after the 1430 second show. Our driver made a brief photo stop at Gris Gris before returning us to our hotel, after a memorable day. I won't forget the sound of the Crocodile jaws snapping shut, trying to 'catch' meat suspended above them.

My husband and I booked this excursion on our honeymoon and it did not disappoint. Blue Bay Marine park is beautiful with breathtaking scenery, swimming and snorkeling with the fishes was so much fun. We had the glass bottom boat all to ourselves and had the most upbeat music on the boat - it was like a party just for us. The nature park was amazing - we got to touch turtles and be up close to crocodiles (safely behind a gate of course). Honestly the experience was way better than we could have imagined. I recommend it 1000%. Also the private car was soooo comfortable with separate seats and individual air conditioning and our driver could not do enough for us and was patient when we were running late or spent more time than planned at locations. We decided not to do the rhumerie as rum isn't our thing but we did everything else and it was just so perfect. I cannot recommend it enough and if we ever come back to Mauritius we will 100% do it again.

The driver was on time and friendly. The trip was pleasant, however, without guided commentary. I asked questions that were answered, with occasional repeating to clarify, otherwise the drive was quite. The car was clean but felt aged, driving style was slow and relaxed, I never felt unsafe although the brakes shuddered slightly on the long downhill on the way back. I did sleep on the way back, which is testament to the relaxed drive style. Probably the only thing that was a downer was the expectation to buy the driver lunch when I asked if I could please try a local dish, mini bouille. While he found me the meal I requested, he chose a meal twice the price of mine and asked if I would buy him lunch, how could I say no? We did not do the last stop on the tour. We ended it after parc la Vanillie.

An overall great experience. The glass bottom boat ride and snorkelling was an amazing experience, with clear waters even on a cloudy day and I was able to observe a variety of fish. La Vanile nature park was underwhelming, if you're short on time I would skip this. Rum tasting at St Aubin was also a nice experience. The driver Imran was very polite and friendly. There was a bit of an issue with miscommunication however, between Bonjour Mauritius and the people at Blue Bay, claiming this was not a private booking when it clearly states otherwise. The order of the itinerary was also changed, which was fine but I would have appreciated if Bonjour Mauritius contacted me to let me know beforehand.

It was such a smooth experience with Bonjour Mauritius! We arrived at Blue Bay and the boat was already waiting for us. The water at Blue Bay was really out of this world beautiful. Our toddler had a blast counting all kinds of fish she spotted thru the glass bottom panels! 10/10 :D

Wonderful day on the Peter Pan boat for the tour of south-east Mauritius from Shandrani beach. Thanks to Sylvain and his son Esteban who made us discover at our own pace the island at the lighthouse, the deer island and all the beauty of the coast. Superb day on the boat just for us, Esteban found us a small cove to have lunch in peace, all with rum and other drink of course. I strongly advise

ras except that for people who do not have their own snorkel and masks, they lend themselves without knowing if they have been properly cleaned after the last use, on the other hand the seabed is full of pretty tropical fish and corals living full of colors.
