Know that this is not a guided tour. The bus takes you to the MG Visitor Center and you are on your own (this is for all groups — no tour guides are allowed at the center). I just want to be clear that the cost seemed a bit steep (~$80/per person) for a bus ride from town. The visitor Center is nice and provides great views of the glacier, but like most National Parks there are films and other interactive things that were not working. My husband ventured down the trail to Nugget Falls and got some amazing photos. It’s a nice activity and very accessible, and our driver, Archie, was very personable and entertaining but, as I said a little high for just a bus ride.

Trip up to the Glacier was informative. Our guide was able to give us information on the town and Glacier. Would highly recommend.

Great experience and we saw bald eagles and walked the trail to Nugget Falls which was gorgeous …. Beauty was all around us and the guides made it easy to understand and appreciate what we were seeing

Archie was awesome! Very knowledgeable, provided lots of cool insights into Juneau and its natives. The glacier itself was a must see and the visitor center was terrific, sadly providing lots of proof of global warming and its impact on the glacier. Plenty of time to walk the park and get great pictures even in the rain!

Due to the federal budget cuts, the visitor center was not open. Signage indicates that hours will be intermittent. M&M Tours was the best! Due to a clerical snafu, the bus left without us. We called the tour company and the owner, Greg, showed up within minutes to pick us up. He narrated our drive and came back to get us. Then he drove us by some local attractions and took us back to our cruise ship. Things happen, and Greg was quick to resolve the problem professionally. We would highly recommend M&M Tours to anyone visiting Juneau!
