Wonderful tour with our guide Romina! We learned a lot about the city, the Mayan culture and so much amazing food. Our son ate everything which is pretty unusual. Romina was very knowledgeable and answered every question we had. Would absolutely do it again!

Nice tour with guide Gisell. Many tasted, smelled and seen. E were in the middle of the Christmas rush, but it was definitely worth it. Highlight for us was the ice cream shop!

We took the tour with Giselle as our guide. She was very knowledgeable about both the foods and Merida, offering insights on things to see as well as foods to try and places to eat. She inquired with the group about foods we had already tried and worked with the vendors to assure we got to try new things. All the foods (fresh fruits, tacos, empanadas, traditional candies, ceviche) and beverages (horchata, sangria soda, tamarind and jamaica juices) were included in the tour price. Our final stop was a Michelin-rated gelato shop. Highly recommended as a great introduction to the culinary and cultural scene of Mérida Centro.

Romina Rodriguez (guide) was a key part of the outstanding adventure. Personality, attention to details and making our experience her focus was awesome. The tour is well laid out. So many types of street food, spices and pastes used in the dishes. More than we ever thought... Romina was very interactive with the food vendors. The next to the last stop was outstanding seafood. So good, we went back the next day for lunch! Romina finished the tour sharing her favorite ice cream shop. Family business, all homemade and delicious flavors. Do not miss this activity!

Romina was fantastic!!! We got a good explanation of some of the history of Merida, but for us, the tour was all about the food. In the market, stops were frequent, with a great explanation of the produce and the spices used in the food we were tasting. The types of food were pretty diverse, and all of it really delicious. We enjoyed being thrust into the small tables and locals. Made us feel part of. Great job Romina!!!

What an amazing food tour with Diego! We didn't just try (delicious) local dishes but ate, drank and learned so much about local eating culture, where ingredients come from and how it's cooked. Diego also taught us so many interesting things about daily life and the history of Merida. He is a wonderful guide and I can't recommend him enough! We ended up the only 2 people on the tour so it felt like a premium experience :)

He knows every fruit, spit or drink. He is humorous, devoted and always has a napkin for glued fingers at hand. He made us taste food I would never have known otherwise.
