What To Expect
This trip is a great way to live adventurous moments in the heart of the lush nature of Northern Greece. Our rafting experience takes place in the Venetikos and Aliakmonas rivers, located close to Meteora. Our route is of medium difficulty during winter, of lower difficulty in spring while during summertime and autumn it is ideal for fun and adventure loving families. Our Meteora Rafting Day Trip begins with a pickup from your hotel in Trikala, Kalampaka or Kastraki. After a 45 minutes drive from Meteora we reach the river bed, where we gear up by wearing our rafting suits. We then proceed to an introductory lesson during which we go over all rafting safety rules and techniques. Now we are ready to begin our adventure in this unique natural environment! Imposing rock formations, beautiful river waters with great rapids and refreshing dives and fun in the water. After changing back to our dry clothes, we hop on our van and return to our hotel where our adventure ends.

5.00A must-do experience for all year round! Me andy friend did it in October, the weather was hot (25 degrees) and the water temperature was around 10 degrees Celsius. There was relatively low level of water and currents but the experience was AMAZING! Our guide was very knowledgeable and experienced. He gave us precise instructions and he was with us on the boat. We also jumped into the river from the rocks and did body rafting too. It was so much fun, pleasure and it felt adventurous! We were provided with all the equipment (neoprene suit, shoes and helmet) and we got pictures taken along the way by the guide. A truly unique experience not to be missed!

5.00We had such a great day on the water with Trekking Hellas! It was my first time river rafting and I felt 100% in good hands with this company: they came across as experts and safe while also extremely fun. The fact that they have grown up in the area and know every single corner of the river provided us with a lot of interesting insights about life in the area. 100% recommended!!

From the pick up in the morning to the drop of in the afternoon, everything was brilliantly organised, the people were amazingly friendly and willing to share their knowledge. 5 stars.
