As usual for our company, we offer unique tours for conscious people. On this occasion we can enjoy the most magical part of the equator, the zero line that divides the world into two parts, around it you can find some adventures such as maintaining balance while walking, balancing an egg on a nail or just admire the movement of the water in a sink in different directions. Historically you learn from the wisdom of the ancestral towns of Quito like totems poles and unique traditions like "shrunken heads" The next adventure is to the north, a bird sanctuary full of nature awaits us, feeling a hummingbird flying in your hand is incredible, next activity is very close where we find coffee plantations and learn about the process of making the best groundcoffee in the region. Finally, it awaits us. a unique landscape in the world since you can see a volcanic crater with people living inside called "Pululahua". The entrances are included and the weather most days is warm and nice.

Jossua made the experience rewarding. He is very knowledgable passing information in a relaxed engaging manner. Local knowledge helps to try interesting ice-cream. The hummingbird and coffee experience provides an opportunity to meet local people working on a reserve and small coffee producing enterprise. We also went to a fantastic place for lunch (good food and price).

Jossua was an exceelent guide! We relly appreciated his knowledge of the area, his sense of humour and his recommendations based on our interests. We never knew how many species of hummingbirds there are; having them land on our hands to be fed was an amazing experience. I reccommend bug spray and long sleeves/pants for this part. I got eaten alive. The interactive experience at the middle of the world was a mind warp! BTW loved the coffee. We would recommend this trip.

Jossua was an amazing tour guide! He was very knowledgeable about a variety of things from coffee making, to chocolate making, the middle of the world unique aspects, birding, and overall landscape of Ecuador. He made the tour excellent. We never felt rushed. He let us see things at our pace. The hummingbirds were so cool to feed. The Middle of the World was very interesting and it was neat to stand in both hemispheres at the same time. Jossua took lots of photos of us. Pululahua was absolutely beautiful. The drive to the hummingbirds had some stunning scenery. The restaurant Jossua chose was great. Best meal I had on our whole vacation. (Pork chops with BBQ sauce) The tour was tailored to my liking and I would recommend Jossua and this tour to everybody!

This was a great experience. I expected a short tour but it was a full day with many options, getting to that experience was really fantastic. The country side is beautiful and feeling hummingbirds in my hand was really cool . My guide, Jossua, was great. This was my second excursion with him. His knowledge and flexibility throughout the trip has been great. I liked everything about this experience.

I rarely write reviews, but I make an exception for this one. Such an educational, endearing, eco-touristic day I spent with Jossua! He picked me up at my hotel at a time of my choosing. His focus was consistently on my needs and preferences. We headed for the Middle of the world where Jossua provided erudite info, challenged me to some entertaining, equator-exclusive experiences, guided me through the Intiñan Museum and proved himself to know the ‘hidden’ spots where to take perfect pics away from the other tourists. In conjunction, we visited an exhibit where Jossua guided me through the whole chocolate producing process – followed by the sampling of some exquisite chocolate. Onwards we travelled to Pululahua Geobotanical Reserve, a spectacular volcanic crater in the Andes that sports a stunning, fertile climate which has attracted human settlements centuries back. As usual, Jossua knew the perfect spots to take pictures and imparted his encyclopedic knowledge of the area’s history and scientific conditions. After a satisfying lunch – which is not included in the price (but was very inexpensive) – we headed for the rain forest. More precisely, for the Alambi Reserve which is a project for the conservation of the cloud forest in the Tandayapa Valley. Here in ‘paradise’ I enjoyed an other-worldly experience with a diverse collection of hummingbirds sitting on, hovering above and fanning my palms. After this mind-blowing event, Jossua walked me to a nearby coffee plantation where I was guided through the whole fascinating process of producing coffee – from sapling to refined end product. The visit ended with the sampling of some of the plantation’s succulent coffee. So in one day I got to visit the equator, the Andean highlands, the rainforest, have hummingbirds float on my hands, some stunning pictures taken, learn about and taste locally produced chocolate and coffee – guided through it all with Jossua’s friendly, erudite, safe hands.
