Milford Sound
Step aboard our magnificent three deck catamarans, and enjoy a scenic cruise along spectacular Milford Sound. Get up close and personal with the fiord's towering mountains, sheer cliffs and hanging valleys as the boat hugs the edges of the fiord throughout the two hour cruise. Feel the spray from the waterfalls that cascade from an ancient rainforest high in the mountains and look out for New Zealand fur seal colonies and occasionally dolphins swimming nearby. The cruise goes the full length of the fiord to the Tasman Sea and return down the opposite side. During the exploration you will pass iconic landmarks such as Bowen Falls, Mitre Peak, Copper Point, Fairy Falls, Bridal Veil Falls, Dale Point, Seal Rock and of course Stirling Falls.

It is a long drive to Milford Sound but well worth it. We were lucky with the weather as it was beautiful sunshine. The boat was amazing well set up so that passengers could see the spectacular views. They had a great catering option and provided hot drinks free of charge which were very good. Our captain Aaron was very good his commentary throughout the trip was excellent. We were lucky to see dolphins and seals. Although we were happy with the weather Aaron was not happy that it had not rained in 5 days so this meant that the waterfalls were not as good as they should be! Overall would highly recommend this trip

The scenery is simply stunning - almost other worldly. I would highly recommend anyone to go to Milford see it by boat nb out visit was helped by excellent weather. The crew on the boat were helpful and provided some commentary about the key facts and history of the area.

Fun cruise on a good size boat. It was raining, but that just meant there were a lot more waterfalls than usual. The captain had good information and some funny stories.

The Pure Milford Cruise was awesome, boat was clean and well organised. Aaron the skipper provided great commentary which I think made the trip special, informative and a few jokes thrown in. I highly recommend a Pure Milford Cruise.

This trip was fantastic & the views are spectacular. The drive & the boat trip to the Milford Sound are not to be missed. One of the best experiences of our road trip around New Zealand.

Great experience. We went on the 11:00 cruise on a Thursday. The boat was great (clean and modern, with plenty of space inside and out) with lots of room to move around the catamaran (no tours were on our boat, so not as busy as other boats looked to be). Looked like one of the newer boats out here. The kids (aged 11-15) had a great time as well, watching both the waterfalls and the dolphins jumping at the bows of the boat (and the amazing hot cocoa). It was a rainy day, but the waterfalls were amazing and would do it all again on a rainy day. Crew was excellent as well, very friendly and offering to help take some family pictures. Couldn’t have had a better experience despite the weather not being great.

We had a wonderful (although rainy) trip with Pure Milford! Boat driver gave an insightful commentary all the way through with fun facts about everything! The boat was very comfy and not crowded at all! We saw dolphins and seals! The free coffee and hot chocolate was also incredible, some of the best coffee we have had! Thoroughly recommend this tour.
