Step aboard our magnificent three deck catamarans, and enjoy a scenic cruise along spectacular Milford Sound. Get up close and personal with the fiord's towering mountains, sheer cliffs and hanging valleys as the boat hugs the edges of the fiord throughout the two hour cruise. Feel the spray from the waterfalls that cascade from an ancient rainforest high in the mountains and look out for New Zealand fur seal colonies and occasionally dolphins swimming nearby. The cruise goes the full length of the fiord to the Tasman Sea and return down the opposite side. During the exploration you will pass iconic landmarks such as Bowen Falls, Mitre Peak, Copper Point, Fairy Falls, Bridal Veil Falls, Dale Point, Seal Rock and of course Stirling Falls.

Bought my tickets online. At the counter, lady at reception wasn't the most enthusiastic to help but got my boarding pass and details. Ship captain and his commentary was 5 Star. The folks at the boat cafe was fantastic, so was the boat crew. It was a 1hr 50min ride. The was rain in the morning so the waterfalls were at full force, what a delight.

We had a great experience with Pure Milford cruise. Booked the self drive and cruise tickets through tripadvisor the day before the cruise. The whole family enjoyed the trip. Warm and friendly staff with good service. Spectacular views of the fjord.

The boat was not quite full but I wouldn’t have wanted many more people on board. Free hot drinks. 90 minutes long enough. The commentary was a bit worthy at times as regards wildlife etc.

Queenstown local here! Every year, for the last seven years, I end up taking my visitors into Milford, and every time without fail, I go on a Pure Milford cruise. The crew are always so friendly, kind, full of facts and funny as ever! Both of the two boats are beautiful, and it never feels too crowded when trying to move around. The skippers have great commentary (and humour) and always try their best to find wildlife for us. It's always a great day in Milford Sound, rain or shine, and it's a greater day on a Pure Milford cruise 😊

Weather was extremely inclement due to high winds. Pure Milford cruise company elected to return to the harbor for the safety of the passengers and crew. They have insured a refund for the cruise as a result…. we were requested to go through our booking agent to obtain the refund. I will also email you to give you additional detail and what I must do to get the refund. Cruise date was November 14 at 1:30.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff, free basic coffee and tea. Lovely pies $10. There was a good commentary on this small/med sized boat. Not overcrowded. This company had more individuals rather than coach loads and groups of tourists (Chinese/Japanese). Learned a lot about Milford Sound and managed to see some Penguins and Seals.

Wow! This experience was absolutely incredible from start to finish. The scenic flight was breathtaking — every direction offered jaw-dropping views. The Milford Sound cruise was just as amazing — calm, beautiful, and truly awe-inspiring. Our Captain was outstanding, sharing his impressive local knowledge and great sense of humour. All the staff were friendly and so happy to have chat. The entire day was seamless, stunning, and unforgettable. Thank you, True South and Pure Milford for an experience that no one should miss!
