Everything about this was absolutely amazing! The scenery, kayaking, swimming, food and guest services were 5 star! I was initially concerned by the cost, but now I would highly recommend booking it NOW if you can! 5⭐️’s doesn’t seem enough!

During our Milford Sound trip, we had an amazing time with Fiordland Discovery. Francis and the crew were incredible! They told us all about the history and geography of the area, and their stories made everything feel so real. They were exceptionally personable, although there were 12 of us, it felt like a private trip and the crew joined us in our adventures, further elevating our trip. And the food! Chef Chris is a master. Every dish was delicious and he used fresh ingredients that made it feel like it was a five star restaurant on the sound! The views from Fiordland Discovery were absolutely stunning. We could see towering cliffs, cascading waterfalls and lush greenery everywhere we looked. It was like being in a real-life postcard! This is a MUST-DO in New Zealand! This experience alone would be worth a trip from the states!

Well worth the money. Jimmy, Meg, and Morgan were outstanding hosts and operators. The chef made amazing meals. The staterooms were wonderful and the hot showers plentiful. That was needed after we did the cold plunge after kayaking. It was a great time. We saw penguins, seals, waterfalls and other sights.

The boat is fabulous, the Milford Sound is magical, but this experience is all about the crew. We got lucky to have the owner Rob & captain Jimmy duo!!! 🙏❤️🙏...., both not only superior sailors and fishermen, but very entertaining as well. Rob was raised in these waters and he has an intimate knowledge of every creature and every rock, but it's his infectious humor we couldn't get enough. The rest of the crew is a fantastic international blend. Last, but not least, the CHEF!!! We've eaten in many fine dining establishments on our 2 week NZ trip. The lobster, scrambled eggs with salmon and chia coconut yogurt all made it on the top of our 'best meals' list. 😉

This was a very nice cruise. We took their shuttle out of Queenstown because we were so tired from going to Doubtful the day before. It’s not as grueling a trip as Doubtful, but it’s still a long day (9-2), with the overnight on the vessel. Staff were great, accommodations were great, food was delicious. Different scenery(grander) so I recommend both, but stay out there, avoid driving, and do not do the trips back-to-back. We thought the cruise could have been longer on the water, but the sound is fairly small.
