What To Expect
Pululahua Volcano & Geobotanical Reserve
Imagine visiting the Crater of an active Volcano and observing people living inside it. On the way to our destination Mindo (Cloud Forest) we will stop to observe this wonderful place.
Afterwards, we will visit the Alambi Reserve which is located within the Cloud Forest. This reserve is characterized by a large number of species of hummingbirds and other birds. This space is perfect for taking pictures, recording videos and even feeding hummingbirds.

5.00My wife and I had a great trip to Mindo with guide Jonathan and driver James. The 10 hour trip from our hotel included visits to a humming bird location where they also grow and produce coffee, a butterfly venue and a rather challenging walk plus cable car ride to a waterfall. Guide was great company and speaks excellent English. Strongly recommended.

5.00Jhonatan was an incredible guide for our day in the cloud forest. So knowledgeable and friendly it felt like I was gaining a friend while learning so much about this beautiful land. From the hummingbirds to local coffee farm, hiking and then zip lining through the forest, finishing with a delicious meal together at a fabulous restaurant. Truly unforgettable experiences. Highly recommend booking with him!

5.00Our guide was Jhonanton Salazar and driver was Luis Meija. Jhonathan was there on time to pick up for the Mindo day trip but because we wanted to see the "Center of the World," he accommodated us and was flexible in adjusting the trip to our liking. He was knowledgeable about the wild life and the ecosystem. Luis was careful in his driving and we felt safe even in the rains. I highly recommend Jhonathan from Bakan Travels.
