No rental car needed and no need to worry about navigating dark roads at night! We offer a pick-up service across most of Miyako Island. Please contact us after booking to arrange your transport.
Note: Kurima, Ikema, and Irabu Islands are outside the pick-up service area.

What To Expect
Embark on a special night adventure into the subtropical jungle to discover nocturnal wildlife and a sky full of stars! During the exploration, you will encounter rare animals and plants seldom seen on the mainland. If you are lucky, you might even come face-to-face with the impressive Coconut Crab! Furthermore, away from city lights, the night sky sparkles like a natural planetarium, offering an unforgettable experience. Itinerary [Summer Season] 20:00 Meet your guide at the field location. 20:15 Night tour begins! 20:45 Jungle exploration and stargazing. 21:30 Tour ends and dismiss at the location. [Winter Season] 19:30 Meet your guide at the field location. 19:45 Night tour begins! 20:15 Jungle exploration and stargazing. 21:00 Tour ends and dismiss at the location. Please note: Support is available in Japanese or English only. Important Information Punctuality and Communication Please arrive on time. Late arrivals or no-shows without prior notice will be treated as cancellations and are subject to cancellation fees. If you expect to be late, please contact us immediately. Final Confirmation Detailed information regarding the meeting point and time will be sent by the day before the tour. Please ensure you provide a phone number or email address where you can be reached in Japan. If you do not receive a message by 6:00 PM the day before, please contact "MIYAKO ADVENTURE PiPi" using the contact details on your ticket. Eligibility and Health Age Range: 3 to 65 years old. Not suitable for: Pregnant women (including early stages), children aged 0-2, individuals with chronic medical conditions, or individuals weighing over 100kg (220lbs). Safety and Equipment For your safety, please follow the guide’s instructions at all times during the tour. Weather and Operation Conditions The tour operates in light rain but may be canceled if field conditions are deemed unsafe. Minimum Participants: 2 people. If the minimum is not met, we will notify you of a free cancellation the day before. As this tour takes place in a natural environment, sightings and activities may vary depending on the weather. We cannot guarantee specific wildlife sightings. In case of poor weather, rescheduling to a different date may be possible. Preparation There are no restrooms at the site. Please use one before arrival. Participation under the influence of alcohol is strictly prohibited. Language Support The tour is conducted in Japanese or English. Please note that depending on booking availability, the tour may be conducted in Japanese only.

5.00It was a chilly day with not much good weather, but thanks to Mayu-chan's bright guide, I was able to enjoy it without much rain only during the tour. I was very happy to come across palm crabs soon. I hope I can see a beautiful starry sky next time️

4.00Stroll through the octopus park at night, guided by "Dundee Bearded Girl with a lovely smile". Lighting up the forest I enjoyed walking and exploring. And it's good to see the coconut crab somehow! The sky was clear on the day, and it was a good memory to enjoy the starry sky in winter~

4.00I went on a night tour. Takumi-san. Thank you for responding to my child's (too many to make parents want to be tick) questions without nasty responses. The kids were very interested in learning about many creatures and plants, and it was a fun tour for parents. Unfortunately, it was bad weather and I was disappointed not to see the beautiful stars of Miyakojima, but I enjoyed meeting creatures that I could only meet on a night tour. Thank you very much.

5.00The whole event was amazing. In particular, our guide, Mr. Kajita, was very professional. He guided me very hard in the morning canoeing experience and introduced me very carefully to the natural ecology of Miyakojima in the evening activities (it is really rich in nature). In addition, they explained it in several languages so that foreign participants could understand it very well. At the end of the day, I really appreciate you taking a night view photo of me! This tour is highly recommended.
