Enjoy nature in the clouded forest of the majestic Volcano Mombacho, with a height of more than 1300 meters above sea level, one of Nicaragua's most famous volcanoes. There are only two clouded forests on the country's Pacific coast, the other being on Maderas Volcano.
Hiking and zip-lining adventure.
The volcano offers fantastic views of Lake Nicaragua and the city of Granada.
After the hike, there will be a stop at the zip line, where you can experience the adrenaline rush as you glide through the rainforest.

5.00We are two travelers from the US and booked the Mombacho crater hike . Our driver Manuel arrived early and picked us up in an air conditioned car from our hotel. He was very friendly and spoke English quite well. When we arrived at Mombacho, he introduced us to our guide, Carlos, who also had excellent English skills. From the entrance we took the ride up the mountain, which is an adventure in itself. Arriving at our hike, Carlos led us through the walk which was not too difficult, but he shared his knowledge of the history, plants snd animals. It was initially cloudy, but it had a magical feeling. Later, it cleared up and we had some great views. Having a knowledgeable guide made the experience so much better than going alone. Highly recommend!
