This is an all encompassing tour for visitors. You get to see the country through the comfort of the van, get a high speed boat tour of the canal and get an amazing history lesson. Our guide looked good and was professional and ensured everyone was involved and enjoying the experience. We saw 13 different animals including crocodiles and a sloth. Our guide got the monkeys to eat out of our hands as they hopped all over our boat., The walk through the jungle was fascinating! We learned so much. We also stoped at a local store for bathroom and local snacks prepared for us. Excellent way to learn and be entertained. It was worth the price and time. In fact we did not want it to end.

You will be charged a hidden fee of 20 dollars to cross the Panama canal. I didn't like this because I pay with card I don't expect an extra fee. .it needs to be stated on your page. but the tour was great and Manolo is very good he brings the monkeys too you as best as he can and he lets you interact with them and feed them. How can we expect to tip when we are paying the 20 dollar crossing fee. I give the tour itself and guide 5 stars

This tour is a must do in Panama City! Our guide, Manolo Luis was enthusiastic, knowledgeable and entertaining. We have seen many types of monkeys and other wildlife and were given interesting facts. I was personally impressed by the organization of the tour; for example: each person was handled their own binoculars which they could use throughout the tour; we have been given a raincoat - just in case; tasty snacks during (empanadas) and at the end of the trip (pineapples). Furthermore we have seen a number of ships crossing the canal. Be mindful to be ready for the tour ahead of the time as they might pass beforehand/ this happens to me and u almost missed the buss; the actual owner was kind enough to pick me up and take me to join the others in the bus.

This is a wonderful and informative tour. Our guide Manolo was fabulous. He takes every effort to spot sloths, birds, and attracts monkeys to the boat. If you go during the rainy season, do the morning tour to avoid storms. Highly recommend!

The Monkey and Sloth Habitat Tour was highly professional, well-rounded, and well worth the time and cost. Communication before and during the trip was efficient, and transportation was comfortable and prompt. Emilio, our tour guide, was extremely knowledgeable and pleasant. Danny, our driver, was also well informed, and even pulled over so we could see and photograph a sloth. During the boat ride we encountered three types of monkeys, and saw a crocodile, iguana, and various bird species. The snack following was delicious and filling. The jungle hike was just long enough to see a variety of wildlife and have a “Tarzan swinging from a vine” photo op. Fresh pineapple on the bus afterwards was a wonderful surprise and very refreshing. The Monkey and Sloth Habitat Tour is highly recommended!

We were picked up from our hotel in Casco Viejo right on time. The driver made his rounds to the various hotels around the city and then picked up our guide and ready to go right at 7 am. Our guide Manolo was fantastic. Very knowledgeable, passionate about eco-tourism and being respectful to the monkeys and the land. Our driver spotted a sloth high up in the trees on our way to the boat and Manolo had a telescopic camera set up for all of us to take a turn and see as well as took a picture through the camera lens. The boat tour along the canal was fascinating seeing the huge tankers up close and then heading into the islands to find the monkeys. We saw three varieties with two coming on board for a little snack of banana. From there we trekked 1 km into the rain forest and heard howler monkeys but didn't see them. Manolo used his camera to show us rare wild flowers, tree life and even pointed out boa and tarantula nests (luckily didn't see either). It was an excellent 4 hour trip.
