Mont St Michel is impressive - there is significant time in getting there and back and it gets crowded, but it’s something so unique to see. Advise to go early in the day if possible to manage the crowds. Must be able to do a lot of steps! Lucie was an excellent guide who is super knowledgeable and helped us navigate the entire trip. We really enjoyed our day with her!

This is a very interesting and historic site. The medieval architecture is outstanding. My wife made the entire walk to the top and I stayed behind due to the difficulty of the climb. We are 75 and 78 so we have to be careful to not exceed our physical capability. She thoroughly enjoyed the trip and the guide was excellent.

Mont Saint Michel is a very crowded-popular tourist attraction. Street were packed with people as well a locals as it was a long holiday weekend for their Labor Day holiday. Our tour guide, Caroline, was exceptional -very knowledgeable about the history of the Abbey, and helped group members (tour of 7 people) navigate the packed streets, find places to eat, and was cheerful and thoughtful for the 2 of us who had difficulty with the many steps. Caroline also does Normandy D-Day tours and was able to answer many questions about this key event as well as questions that were asked about Mont Saint Michel.
