Book a Guided Tour or Shuttle to Moraine Lake and/or Lake Louise: - Sunrise at Moraine Lake: 4-5 hrs total, includes 2 hrs at the lake - Sunrise Moraine + Lake Louise: 6.5-7.5 hrs, 2 hrs at each lake - Daytime Moraine + Lake Louise: 6.5-7.5 hrs, 2 hrs at each lake (8:30am or 11:30am start) - Golden Hour at Moraine Lake: 5 hrs total, includes 2 hrs during the evening Golden Hour - Moraine Lake Extended: 6.5-7.5 hrs, with 4 hrs to hike or explore - Lake Louise Extended: 6.5-7.5 hrs, with 5 hrs of free time to hike, canoe, or relax What to Expect: You'll be greeted at your designated pick-up location. Settle into a comfortable, spacious vehicle for your journey. Enjoy stories, local insights, and helpful tips from your guide during the scenic drive. Stay refreshed with a light snack, water refills (BYO bottle), and onboard charging stations (bring your own cable). Spend unhurried time at Moraine Lake—climb the Rockpile, stroll the shoreline, or simply take in the views. Canoe rentals available during daytime hours (not available on Sunrise Tour). If your tour includes Lake Louise, continue on for more free time to explore, canoe, or hike at your own pace. For Extended Shuttle options, you’ll be dropped off and have 4 hours at Moraine Lake or 5 hours at Lake Louise to explore independently before being picked up. You'll be dropped off at your hotel or original pickup point, relaxed and full of mountain memories.

5.00This was a great sunrise trip. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable. We were given blankets for the viewing and hot beverages (tea, coffee, and hot chocolate). On the way home we got fruit snacks for a little treat. The views themselves were amazing.

5.00Booked the sunrise tour to Moraine lake. It was early morning pickup from a nearby hotel. Went smoothly and no wait. The tour guide was pleasant and gave a brief overview on our drive up to the lake and then walked us to the rockpile- it was already pretty crowded by the time we got there - around 5:30 am or so. Got some hot chocolate and a warm blanket (not cold so used it to sit down on the cold rocky ledge). The views are amazing. Unfortunately it was cloudy and didn’t get the best sunrise experience but still worth it. It would be priceless if you get the full sunrise experience( we got a glimpse of the sun for a few minutes) I’m sure you can’t step foot in there when there are more people there later in the day.

5.00I cannot recommend Explore Banff and our guide Cam enough! From start to finish, the experience was seamless, fun, and full of breathtaking moments. Cam’s knowledge of Banff’s history, wildlife, and hidden gems added so much depth to the tour—he didn’t just take us from place to place, he brought the entire landscape to life with fascinating stories and insights. What stood out the most was Cam’s energy and enthusiasm. He clearly loves what he does, and it made the tour feel more like an adventure with a friend than a formal excursion. He went above and beyond to make sure everyone felt comfortable, answered every question with patience, and even gave us great tips on where to eat and explore after the tour. The scenery in Banff is stunning on its own, but having a guide like Cam made it unforgettable. I walked away with amazing memories, beautiful photos, and a much deeper appreciation for the area. If you’re visiting Banff, do yourself a favor—book with Explore Banff and ask for Cam. You won’t regret it!

5.00Great way to see the lakes! Sunrise is not to be missed at Moraine Lake! And you’ll beat the crowds at Lake Louise! Our tour guide Cam was great! Gave us terrific info yet allowed us time to explore the lakes on our own! Totally worth it!!
