5.00This is definitely a great activity to do with friends. We enjoyed delving into our creative side and received good instruction from our host. The process takes some time but we weren’t rushed and were able to leave with an “almost finished” lamp. The kit provided everything needed to finish at home. Would definitely recommend this to do as a group. (there is a BWS close by if you want to relax with a tipple)

The class was so well organized, relaxing, and creative. I absolutely loved making my lamp and can’t wait to join another of her workshops. Highly recommended!

3.00It was enjoyable, however there is no bathroom facilities on site. Turkish tea or coffee wasn't offered and unfortunately you will have to take most items home to finish because they don't have sinks or ovens.

5.00I really enjoyed making my lamp. The instructor was really friendly and helpful. The instructions were all really clear and I finished plastering my lamp at home. Very happy with the end result and bought 2 more to do at home.

5.00My child gave me this lamp-making workshop as a birthday present, and it turned out to be one of the most memorable gifts I’ve ever received. The 2.5-hour session was an adventure into my own creativity – from carefully choosing colours and patterns to the challenge (and fun!) of glueing them onto the slippery glass surface. Basak, our teacher, was so friendly and helpful, making the whole process easy to follow and enjoyable. Later at home I added the plaster, and within a day my lamp was ready to shine radiantly. The experience was beautifully complemented by a cup of delicious apple tea and Turkish delight – a thoughtful and authentic touch. Altogether, it was a joyful, hands-on experience that left me with not just a unique lamp, but also a lovely memory.
