Most adventurous two weeks of our lives. We are three friends from the UK. We were collected on arrival in the middle of the night at Entebbe airport and driven to the fantastic Ruboni community camp in the Rwenzori. What followed was a surreal week of hiking a topped off with a summit day that included technical mountaineering. It was our first time using ice axes and crampons and Mr Josefat & Mr Ezra our guides gave us all the confidence we needed. Their professionalism and dedication throughout the trip was outstanding - never had such amazing mountain guides anywhere in the world. The second week we spent visiting many different safaris. Queen Elizabeth national park, kazonga channel boat cruise and the bwindi forrest to see the gorillas with our personal driver and guide Patrick. Last day we went white water rafting on the Nile. They handled all the bookings and the leve of accommodation was very good. I couldn’t recommend Travelmonke more!
