Arriving at the villa, you’ll enjoy the view and you’ll start your culinary experience with a tasting of a traditional halloumi in traditional pita accompanied by a local wine. You’ll soak in the views of the mountains as your guide shares the backstory of Cyprus’ famous foods: halloumi and moussaka. Next your guide will show you how to make moussaka, and will explain cooking variations. After you prepare the moussaka it will then be baked in the oven. When ready, you’ll sit down to enjoy your moussaka accompanied by wine or water. For dessert, you’ll eat “sweet walnut” and we promise you one won’t be enough.
