We travel from overseas and take this tour to see Mount Fuji. If the weather was really bad then we can perfectly understand if we don’t see the mountain. But on a day that was cloudy in the morning but clear in the afternoon and evening it’s disappointing to note that the travel company does not have an alternate plan to do something else in the morning and return to the 5th station in the afternoon/ evening when the weather is clear to see the mountain (we did see Mt Fuji from different locations later on during the day). Also the village we were taken to was uninteresting and the cable ride was boring as well as it was just a part of the full ride as I understand. Our guide was Momo. She was ok but was trying to sell us the travel company’s sake and showed pictures in the bus only to the ppl at the front (we have been in tours from the same company where the guides came to the back of the bus and showed pictures as well).

I had a great time on this tour! Be mindful to get to the meeting location early and on time for check in so that the schedule isn’t interfered with. Our tour guides, Levin and Yuta-san were very knowledgeable and social. Always willing to help for a photo opportunity. Mt Fuji is famously known for only being visible 30% of the time so we were very lucky to have had a good weather day. We got up to station 4 on Mt. Fuji. We went to a restaurant with simple Japanese dishes served buffet style (it also had a ninja show which we didn’t partake but a ninja did greet us from the rooftop). And our last stop was a ferry around Lake Ashi. If you didn’t book the bullet train back to Tokyo, there’s still an option to book it with the group or at the station. I enjoy going on tours like these because it allows me to see more in a short amount of time as a solo traveler. Since it was February, it was very cold on the mountain and in the area so I’d suggest to wear layers to keep warm. But they kept the bus very temperate. Hope you book it and the weather lets you see all of Mt. Fuji.

We had Momo and Hagi San for our tour to Mt. Fuji and Hakone today. Both were very professional and welcoming. Momo especially takes pride of her work and strive to get better each time. If you are going during the Winter be sure to dress warmly if you are going to Station 5 on Fuji. Even inside the souvenirs store it was still freezing! Oh also bring 100 yen coin if you need to use the restroom inside. Overall great experience. Will definitely do this again. The company is very reliable and genuine.

Sora was a great tour guide, she was very infomative and kind. We truly enjoyed our expeience! I wouldn’t recommend the trip for young children because of how long the bus ride.

The tour pick up location was easy to locate. The tour bus left exactly at 8AM. We arrived around 10AM at Mount Fuji and blessed with a clear sky and amples amount of sunshine! It has been a life long dream of mine to visit Fuji-San and it happened! I highly recommend visiting in the late Fall or Winter Season to have a better chance of seeing Mount Fuji. The 5th. Station has gift shops, restaurants, restrooms, beautiful vistas and a lovely Shinto shrine located behind the buildings. After this stop, we were off to a buffet lunch and were served an array of both Japanese and Western cuisine. There was also more chances to take more photos and do some souvenir shopping. Our next destination was Hakone and we were on the ropeway and funicular which was interesting. Then our last stop was at Lake Ashi and took a boat ride. Overall, what a lovely day in rural and mountainous Japan and our tour guide Lovely was wonderful, fantastic and super helpful. She sat with me and helped me navigate the bullet train and I am forever grateful for her help. Lovely also taught us about the history of Mount Fuji, Japan and the local culture which made the tour more authentic. Thank you very much for making my Mount Fuji dream come true! One last tip, please read carefully the additional information regarding drop off back to Tokyo. I requested bus return however, on the weekends they only do bus pick up and you have to make your way back to Tokyo via bullet train. Had I read the finer print, I would have been more prepared.

Nice tour to add on if you want to hit a Hakone onsen too(after tour). Utas made this a great tour. His positive attitude and knowledge was a bonus. Weather was supposed to be bad, but it turned out beautiful. Mt.Fuji was in its splendor with its white capped beauty. I did the tour then hit the hot spring. Nice!

We were recently in Tokyo for a few days and booked this excursion. I would highly recommend this excursion as it is informative, all inclusive, and fast-paced covering a lot of ground in one day. We started out on a bus and ended our trip by taking a train back. We were lucky to see nice views of Mount Fuji, especially on the boat trip we took. The aerial tramway was also interesting. The weather is highly variable and the day we went it was warm, then cold and rainy, then sunshine so dress accordingly. The most challenging part of the excursion was to locate the meet up point, which we checked out and located the day before our trip. When we arrived that morning, there were multiple groups from different companies, so it was a little confusing trying to get in the right line.
