The tour was well put together. Mt Fuji 5th Station was so good to visit on a beautiful fine day as were the other activities. Our Guide, Yui, was just lovely, knowledgeable, helpful and a delightful guide. Well worth it st see a part of Japan we would not have visited otherwise.

12 hour day with only 2-3 hours of stops in total. Cable car was cancelled as not enough time due to traffic. Each stop 30- 40 minutes at best so very rushed at every point. The guide was excellent and couldn't fault. Overall grueling day which regretted booking.

The experience was well organized and went smoothly. Our guide Yui was great. She was very knowledgeable and personable. She spent time explaining Japanese history, culture, and customs. Her instructions about the tour and the days events were clear and understandable. A little more time off the bus spent at the 5th Station on Mount Fuji would have been nice. Sometimes it felt a little rushed. An air conditioned bus tour on a very hot day was nice. The included lunch buffet was excellent with a wide variety of items to eat. It would have been nice to know beforehand that the ship pictured in the tour photograph is not the ship you actually sail Lake Ashi on. The actual ship is a standard lake cruise vessel, similar to a ferry. The cruise on the lake was nice, especially on a hot day, but still a little disappointing it was not the ship pictured. All in all it was worth the time and money spent.

We had such a wonderful experience on this tour, and a big part of that was thanks to our incredible tour guide Yuty. We were even lucky enough to see Mt Fuji as the clouds moved just before we left this stop. Lunch was great with many traditional and western options. Highly recommend this tour if you’re looking for a seamless, informative, and memorable day!

If you want a completely coordinated bus to make all the sightseeing stops, snap a few pictures, and go home, then this is the tour for you. If you want to spend time admiring the beauty of Mt. Fuji, Hakone and Lake Ashinoko, then do not take this tour. You spend around 5 hours total on the bus compared to the 20-30 minutes allotted for each scenic overlook. Way too rushed feeling. The Japanese style lunch shown in the banner photos and description is not what we got. Very mediocre quality Western-style summer camp cafeteria buffet food. It was pretty clear that multiple tour operators simply shepherd tour groups through this dining hall. The commentary from the tour guide and pre recorded audio tracks on the bus (plus the very loud people on the bus, which is not the tour operators fault) lasted too long and made it difficult to relax and enjoy the beautiful countryside we drove through. The nice part of the tour was the boat ride on Lake Ashinoko. Quiet, relaxing and a good summer breeze to escape the July Tokyo heat. Couldn’t really say I recommend this tour overall though.
