Welcome to Guatemala! We'll pick you up at La Aurora International Airport and take you directly to your hotel so you can relax and get ready for the exciting adventure that awaits us on the second day. Start your trip in peace and comfort, and let yourself go on a journey full of discoveries from the very first moment.

Antigua and Hobbitenango. We start the day with a visit to the Hobbitenango nature park, where you can take photos in the charming hobbit houses, stroll along its natural trails, and enjoy games inspired by the Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings movies. You can also snap a picture on the giant hand overlooking panoramic views of the valley. In the afternoon, we will explore Antigua, visiting its most emblematic sites guided by an expert who will immerse you in its architecture, history, and culture. A perfect combination for an unforgettable day.

Lake Atitlan

After breakfast at the hotel, an excursion will be organized to one of the most magical places in Guatemala: Lake Atitlan. Imagine an immense lake, sparkling in the sun, surrounded by mountains and volcanoes adorned with wildflowers. This setting will be the perfect backdrop for a boat ride and guided tour that will explore the deep connection to the Mayan culture that this place harbors.

San Juan la Laguna

According to the local Maya, the lake possesses unique energy fields, and although not everyone feels them, the uniqueness and beauty of Atitlan is undeniable. The excursion will continue to San Juan La Laguna, a charming village inhabited by the Tz'utujil ethnic group, located on the west side of the lake. This place is known for its artisan workshops and rich handicraft tradition. Here, you will have the opportunity to meet the local weavers, artists and artisans who contribute to the vibrant cultural life of the village, as well as enjoy the breathtaking landscapes offered by the surroundings. This day will allow you to immerse yourself in an atmosphere of serenity and natural beauty, while connecting with the rich cultural and artistic heritage of the villages surrounding Lake Atitlan.

Pacaya Volcano

Climb an active volcano and enjoy lunch at the summit. Pacaya Volcano, one of Guatemala's active volcanoes, is ideal for the whole family as its ascent is relatively easy, taking between 1 and 2 hours. While it's not always erupting, you can feel the heat from its volcanic rocks, adding an exciting touch to the experience. Bring marshmallows to roast or prepare s'mores if you wish. At the summit, you will enjoy a packed lunch while delighting in the breathtaking views. Afterwards, you will be transferred to La Aurora International Airport for your departure flight. This will be a perfect closure to your visit, allowing you to take with you one last memorable impression of vibrant Guatemala.
