We can pick you up from Beijing Capital Airport or your hotel. We will guide you to get Visa-free permit step by step, and make sure you get back to airport in time. We supply a professional driver and a car with licence as well as a professional English speaking licensed tour guide, both of them work for you. We will make sure you can enjoy a safe tour with professional English interpretation both during driving and in attractions, and would not waste your time for parking. Our driver will make sure your luggage is safe while you are not in the car.

Our earliest pick-up time is 6:30am. You will need 1.5-2 hours to be get out of customs after your flight arrives. You shall go back in airport at least 1.5-2 hours before the flight departure.
We do not recommend you book this tour, if you arrival Beijing capital airport after 13:00.

As a tour company, if we agree to arrange tour for you that is means your flights information, layover time and your nationality fit the visa free policy requirements. But there are still some other issues might happen that might cause you can not obtain the visa-free or can not get out of the airport. We don’t take any responsibility if you are not able to get visa-free for any reason.

What To Expect
Mutianyu Great Wall
Pick you up from Beijing Capital airport or your hotel in time by our private tour guide and driver. Drive to the Mutianyu Great Wall. You can decide to at there as long as you like. Then transfer you to Old Beijing Hutong area.
Hutong Tour
Visit the Hutong with rickshaw, including Shichaihai lake, Nanluoguxiang Street, Yandaixiejie Street, etc. After the tour, transfer you back to airport or your hotel.

5.00Very nice tour of Great Wall and forbidden city ! The guide and the driver were very friendly and took care of my visit in Beijing, unfortunately Tienanmen square was not open to public visitors because of the parliament meeting they had . But they managed to take me to a the house where they offer me 20 minutes the tasting which was amazing ! So if you have a long layover and you can’t be bothered travelling by your self around Beijing I would definitely recommend this company for any day tour in Beijing ! Nice people and nice place to visit ! Thanks for the fabulous experience guys !

5.00Could not recommend this tour more! Our tour guide Herbie was so friendly and knowledgeable. We had a 13 hour layover and we went to the Great Wall and to the Old City. The time flew by and would highly recommend Herbie and this tour!

5.00Cannot recommend this experience enough, far more than just a convenient way to kill time during a layover, it was a once in a lifetime experience that we'll never forget! Our tour guide, Herbie, was absolutely wonderful. Not only is he incredibly knowledgable but he's also so warm, friendly and funny. From educating us on the history of China, to offering great local recommendations, to taking so many photos of us - we're so so grateful to Herbie for making our experience truly unforgettable. Thank you Herbie, we'll always remember you! The organisation of the tour is also very efficient and professional, with all our emails answered within minutes. So glad we booked this tour as there's no way we would've been able to experience all the things we did if we'd tried to do it ourselves.

5.00We had a really great layover tour with Herbie. We visited Great Wall (beautiful views) and hutongs. He took us to very good local food because we wanted to eat something before our flight and to some local shops.

5.00The whole tour was amazing - from the beginning to an end. Our tour guide Herbie is full of knowledge and he passed on all the important information to understand importance of the great wall even better. Pace of the tour was also great and the restaurant Herbie took us to eat was delicious. It was very convenient that Herbie and the driver (who was also very nice!) picked us up at the airport and at the end drove us back to it. We highly recommend the tour!

5.00We couldn’t ask for a better layover in Beijing and can only recommend 100%. We visited the Mutianyu Great Wall & Old Hutongs and what an amazing Tour it was! This company has a perfect organisation and has very professional staff! from the first e-mail we wrote with Daniel, everything was very easy, fast and detailed, I was already very surprised with the service and when finally the day came for our Tour and we met our Guide Herbie things got even better. Herbie has a very big acknowledgment about his country China and all their history. He gave us a great history lesson about what we were seeing, he speeches perfectly English and is very kind and friendly, always taking care of their customers, making sure they are enjoying the tour and feeling good. As If this wasn't enough, he is an excellent photographer too! He took so many good pictures of us and helping with the best poses for the photo. We couldn’t recommend Herbie enough! We were absolutely amazed by his service and if we came back to Beijing in the future for sure we will book another Tour with him! If you are in Beijing on a Layover with time enough to exit de Airport, don’t hesitate to book a tour with Beijing Layover Tours, I’m sure you won’t regret it.

5.00We made a 12-hour stopover at Beijing airport, and our best decision was to take this tour. It has been an amazing experience, the great wall is amazing, it impacts much more live. And highlight our guide Herbie, has explained everything phenomenal, and makes beautiful photos. A 10 for Herbie. The transfer we have done in a super comfortable car. Everything has been perfect. 5.00We loved every minute of this tour. I have been to China 3 times but this was the first time with my 82 year old mother and 2 kids aged 10 and 12. Our Guide, Herbie, was amazing! Articulate, charismatic, informative. Gave us a ton of history. Also gave great photo opportunities. This is a must do tour! Private and personalized!

5.00This was the most incredible way to spend my 12 hour layover in Beijing. I had Lisa as my guide and she’s fantastic. She had so much knowledge about the history and is such a sweet lady, I hope I get to meet her again! Getting to walk the Great Wall (and toboggan down!) was surreal, then driving around Tiananmen Square and walking through Old Hutong for dumplings and duck pancakes was a treat as well. I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better day. The car was also very comfortable, and the driver Siu was so nice and navigated Beijing’s crazy traffic with ease. Thank you so much for making my first visit to China so special!!
