Fewer visitors. Compared to the popular and crowded Badaling Great Wall, the Mutianyu Great Wall is not too crowded and is relatively quiet. There are 3 types of visitors here: foreigners, children and others. There are very few tour groups here, mostly local tourists. If you don't like too many people, you can choose to come to the Mutianyu Great Wall.

Take a bus from downtown Beijing directly to the scenic spot, no need to worry about the longer trip to the Great Wall at Mutianyu and the complicated transportation transfer in Beijing.

Three lines for you, does not include cable car and ropeway costs, if you need, please contact the tour guide.

Exclusive rest area, after finishing the Great Wall tour, if you still have time, you can rest and enjoy tea and snacks in the exclusive rest area.

You will receive a friage magnet featuring Beijing's well-known landmarks as a souvenir.

What To Expect

Mutianyu Great Wall

The bus will arrive at the Great Wall VIP parkingspace at 10:30am , the tour guide will lead you to the entrance by a few mins walking, use your IDs or Passports to pass the entrance. The Mutianyu has three lines, you can choose to hike or take the cable car(cable car tickets is not included). Three routes for your reference, free to choose, does not include cable car and ropeway fees, if necessary, you can find the guide to buy.

When I first laid eyes on the Great Wall, I was filled with awe and reverence. The ancient wall winding through the mountains exceeded all my expectations, appearing so majestic and solemn. Standing before this centuries-old monument, I felt a deep connection, not only to China's history but also to the shared heritage of all human civilization. Each stone seemed to tell a story from the past, and I, as a fleeting traveler in this long history, was overwhelmed with endless respect and emotion.

Strolling on the Great Wall, looking around, on one side is the lofty and majestic wall of the Great Wall, on the other side is the vast and boundless mountains and rivers, heaven and earth seem to be fused into one, making people feel a magnificent pallor. Professional experienced tour guide really makes tings much easier, nice and clean tour bus with aircon was great especially in summer time. Views in the wall was fantastic and also not very crowded.
