Exploring the Valley of Animas is the perfect mystical adventure for lovers of hiking, and photography in a 3-hour hike.
Discover unique geological formations on a tour designed to go beyond the conventional tour. We will start with a 45-minute hike through Chasquipampa Canyon, exploring stone mazes and Andean worldview. After a 15-minute ascent to the Mirador las Animas, you will have the ideal setting to capture spectacular images among ancient spires.
The highlight is the main viewpoint. Consider that from April to November you will see a sublime reddish sunset, while from December to March, for the summer cycle, the sun sets after our return. However, the energy and peace of the valley remain intact while you enjoy a snack and native drinks outdoors.
It is the ultimate experience for those looking for unforgettable scenery and authentic immersion in the Andes with expert guides.

La Paz
During the journey by car you will appreciate La Paz, to almost the limits of the city (South area). A journey full of curious facts and breathtaking stories of the beautiful city.
Valle de las Animas
Upon arrival, we will make a small welcome offering to ask permission from the Animas and connect with the energy of the place. We will start a 60-minute trek to the Mirador las Animas, a fascinating place where we will explore the interior of the mazes, capture unique photographs with our traditional ponchos and enjoy a comforting snack surrounded by ancient formations. Later, we will ascend to the main viewpoint, appreciating how the sunset light changes on the Animas as we climb. Upon reaching the top, we will enjoy a full view of the Valley and the city of La Paz in front of us. From April to November, we will witness a sublime reddish sunset; while from December to March, for the summer cycle, the sun sets after our return, so the sunset is not appreciated, however it does not change the mystical essence of the Valley. We will wait for sunset sharing an energizing local herbal mate

Our guide Jorge was great! He was very kind, attentive, informative, and patient with all travelers offering to take photos, answer any questions, and he explained very well the history/significance of the land. I did not feel rushed and we stayed just until about sunset. The only negative would be the upfront coordination of the tour and communication. I did not receive any proactive notification of pickup. I had to send a message to the company that day after they failed to show up at the specified time. Also, on the backend, I never received any of the "included photos". I had to follow up multiple times in the days following to finally receive them.

A beautful trek - gorgeous views but make sure to wear good hiking shoes or trail shoes. Ricardo tour guide was awesome.

Too bad. It's not sunset they just take you for a walk on paths full of stones, they don't explain that it's hiking in the sun from 3 to 5.30 in the afternoon, they don't tell you to wear some kind of footwear, clothing. They indicate nothing, I definitely do not recommend them

Amazing experience! We had a private tour with the Roxana guide. She was very attentive, fun and knows a lot about both places. We talked about various issues. She is always very communicative and available. I highly recommend this tour.

Excellent! It is very worth it, even my parents with more than 60 years were able to climb to the top and enjoyed it, Roxana is excellent guide and excellent photographer, also waited for us, calmly, gave us snack and matte. Beautiful landscapes
