Budva
Budva is a coastal tourist resort in Montenegro. It is often called "Montenegrin Miami", because it is the most crowded and most popular tourist resort in Montenegro.
Lake Skadar
Lake Skadar is the largest freshwater area in Southeast Europe, belonging to both Montenegro and Albania. It is located 30 km away from Podgorica and 70 km away from Tivat. Skadar Lake is the largest cryptodepressioin in the Balkan region (its surface is above sea level, and the bottom is below sea level). The average depth of the lake ranges from 4-7 m. The flooded holes are the deepest point of the lake, measuring at 30 m, and can surpass 60-80m in depth. Filled with the beautiful nature and numerous historical monuments, the Montenegrin side of Lake Skadar was named a national park on November 27th 1983. The main attraction of this Lake is its symbol, the pear-shaped pelican that attracts numerous ornithologists every year.

Really lovely day trip to Lake Skadar and Budva. Our guide was really good at explaining life in Montenegro, its history and all the beautiful places we stopped at and viewed. Lake Skadar is truly stunning and we saw many species of birds. A really worthwhile trip. Thank you for a lovely day.

Lake preserved. Surprisingly without much tourist traffic. Just admire the local flora and fauna from one of the small boats that departs from the small village nearby. Remember to make a small stop at the small beach (Montenegrin side) where there is a small restaurant.

We had an absolutely fantastic time! I think the absolute best tour we’ve ever been on. You made everything incredibly easy for us and we really appreciate everyone’s responsiveness. The guides were great and young and fun and energetic which is exactly what we needed. I recommend to everyone this Skardar lake tour.

We took the boat from Virpazar, nice little tourist town and one of the starting points for a boat tour of the lake. You will find quite a few agencies that offer tours, for about 2:00 to 3:00 count 7€ per person, very attractive rate:) Then the lake itself is very pleasant to visit, rare bird species, lush fauna & flora in this very "green" lake, landscapes, beautiful water lilies...A small stop swimming in the cool water to finish the visit was very appreciated.A lake classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and I understand why.A must during your visit to Montenegro.
