This tour was wonderful. We started by stopping first at the arsenal and then out to the lagoon to see the birds, the flora and to take in amazing views of the Dolomites, then around St Michel and back to the rowing club. I hadn't kayaked in 30 years, but Nicolo was very patient and a brilliant guide. He talked about the natural history of the lagoon, of the establishment of the city, and of the various pressures it faces today. I'll definitely be back, with my kids. Grazie Nicolo.

We had planned a tour on Wednesday morning. Aleksandra convinced us to change and go out on Tuesday, late in the day, given the weather forecast the next day. We went to the Arsenal, then went to Murano, which we crossed via the big and small canal. The return was made by passing to the cemetery. We had the chance to see some pink flamingos. The welcome was perfect. Nicolò took the time to tell us about the different places visited as well as explain the differences between the boats that are in the warehouse. For security reasons, no camera! Instead, Nicolò made some pictures for us (with us...) that we received less than 2 hours later (link on a drive) Thank you for this beautiful excursion. in French (congratulations and thanks Nicolò!) We highly recommend Cao Rio!

I took the Naturalistic kayaking class for 10km in the lagoon. It is the highlight of my short winter trip in Venice. Fantastic nature, flamingoes, Alps with snow-capped peaks. I really enjoyed it and higly recommend!

This was actually their cultural tour due to high winds making the lagoon tour unsafe, so I was refunded the difference in cash. The tour was excellent, very good guides and very knowledgeable! It was a very good way to see the city from a different perspective and probably a more Venetian perspective of being in the canal! I would definitely recommend to anyone who is visiting Venice to book onto one of Cao Rio's tours. Hopefully, I will be back in Venice to do the lagoon tour!

The kayak tour with Nicoló was very nice. I've never kayaked before and it all worked out wonderfully. The nature around Venice is a dream, never expected there to be flamingos here. Highly recommended to see Venice with different eyes. The city tour is certainly just as beautiful!!!:)

We went kayaking with Nicolò as a family. We chose one of the Cao Rio tours for beginners. Not only that, but we found the place easily, were warmly welcomed, instructed, and went around the lagoon. A Venetian lagoon is stunning, we immersed ourselves in nature and enjoyed the beauty of the place. 2 hours is a very good format for a tour. You can learn a lot of interesting stuff, and it is not that hard to do. Absolutely for lovers of sports and nature!

We were in Venice for the second time, and we decided to take a kayak tour of the lagoon. Thank you so much to the cool guide and his clear instructions! we enjoyed it so much. We were very lucky with the weather, + the guide said how to dress properly. All necessary equipment was provided locally. Two hours for an experience like this is a very good option. I recommend it!

I went on a Naturalistic Kayak Tour tour and fell in love with the lagoon. It was my first time in a kayak, but I loved it: you paddle between the sandbars and see the birds! The instructor led the group very well and everyone listened and followed his instructions. I really enjoyed it. An unexpected adventure!

I'm not a huge kayak expert but I decided that if there was anywhere to give it a shot, this was the place! This was a great choice, the Naturalistic kayak tour was a great way to feel connected to the whole area in a new way that most people never get to experience. The guide was great and its always good to see people working in tourism take both their jobs and their responsibility to the environment seriously (we picked up some trash that we saw.) Honestly if you're looking for something new and a chance to see things in a way that you will definitely remember, you should absolutely consider this tour!
