The best way to discover authentic island life is to walk through the history and back streets of Naxos Old Town for a sensational food experience and a true taste of local culture.

From the historical port to the crowning castle, the Venetian Old Town with its quaint alleyways -where the food market is awake- passing by colourful fruit stands and stalls with aromatic herbs and spices, we invite travellers to enjoy a sampling of local delicacies including a variety of fine, local Naxian cheeses with a glass of wine, the famous naxian potatoes cooked traditionally and a variety of phyllo snacks.

The food tour is filled with the promise of more traditional mezes and local delights all along the way. Guests learn about the richness of the Naxian products, the people and the local cuisine.

This was possibly our favorite food tour we’ve ever done! Natasha, our guide, was incredibly friendly and warm, offering insights on food and culture as we walked from edge to edge of the old town. Her pacing was perfect for us, with a decent amount of casual walking between plenty of food and drink stops. We learned so much about the food, the culture, and even the town. We loved trying local cheeses, orange cake, the various drinks, wines and liquors, a three course dinner and more! Excellent value. Natasha was also very accommodating for a member of our group who didn’t partake in the alcohol, offering alternative local drink options. The town and the tour were really wonderful, but Natasha was the gem. 🩷

Amazing food and tour of Chora, places we would have not visited without our wonderful guide Natasha. We loved the food, orange cake and wine. Enjoyed the beautiful sites and walking around the old town 💕

Fantastic tour!! Not only did we try some excellent food - but we learned about the history of Naxos as we walked through the old and new parts of the town and the labyrinth of streets surrounding the castle, and also walked through parts of the castle.
