This experience offers a unique opportunity to explore both the Palpa and Nazca Lines and is highly recommended, whether or not you choose to take the flight. It allows you to appreciate up close how these famous geoglyphs were created and preserved over time. Throughout the tour, you will visit two towers and two natural viewpoints that provide spectacular perspectives of the lines. What To Expect

Geoglifos de Palpa

The viewpoints are located about 45 minutes from the city of Nazca, in the district of Palpa, and our first stop could be the Llipata viewpoint. tour includes a visit to the Llipata viewpoint, where you can observe several impressive geoglyphs from a tower. This lookout provides a spectacular view of the Palpa Lines, which are considered even older than the Nazca Lines. It is important to highlight that these figures are not included in the Nazca Lines flight, making this a special and unique experience that complements your journey through the region’s ancient wonders.

Nasca Lines

We will then continue with two additional viewpoints that showcase the Nazca Lines. One of them is a metal tower over 20 meters high, donated by Yamagata University, from where you can clearly observe three of the most iconic figures: the Lizard, the Hands, and the Tree. From these strategic viewpoints, you will appreciate the scale, precision, and mystery of the geoglyphs in a way that perfectly complements the flight experience

We really enjoyed this experience seeing the Nazca Lines and the Palpa geography. We visited the cat geography in Nazca as well as others in Palpa. Amazing sites visible from the ground. We also ascended the Nazca viewing tower to see more of the geography and lines. Great knowledgeable guide Juan. Would recommend.

Arturo was an excellent guide. Very informative and friendly. He spoke clearly and slowly in Spanish which was great for my practise. He also knew a little English too. He picked me up at my hostel and drove us to a few locations with towers so we could see the lines. As an optional extra he took me to a museum about the German woman who dedicated her life to the lines. This cost 8 soles. The museum was small and simple but there were some interesting displays and the room where she lived and all it's paraphernalia was preserved.

The Palpa Lines can be seen from the road, but you have the option of climbing a viewpoint to see from a better angle. They are less famous, but also very interesting and relatively close to the Nasca Lines. Nasca has a larger mirante from where you can see 3 drawings. It is impressive to see that from the road level you can see nothing and as you go up the floors of the viewpoint, the images form in the middle of the desert.

The Nazca lines are truly amazing & the Maria Reiche house museum is well worth a visit; if you intend to visit Peru I highly recommend that you visit this area - you will not be disappointed. I also recommend that you organise your tour through Get2peru.com. For us we had some confusion with the tour date we booked but a lady called Mily at this tour operator ensured, at very short notice, that we had a personal tour guide to bring us on our tour; Carlos was a lovely guy and very knowledgeable. Thank you again to Mily for all the trouble she went to, above and beyond the call of duty, and to Carlos for the great tour.....

Excellent Juan Carlos is a pilot and gave us a lot of information to have an excellent experience in the flight and recommended us to take the ground tour as a complement to the experience of flying them and it was the best decision , the flight takes 30 minutes and the ground tour 3 hours approximately arrived at 6 am without any organized plan or where I will arrive we were besieged by street vendors posing by taxi to the airport and who offer you everything and then we find out that they use the story of the plane with a supposed seat in the middle that does not exist! Right there operates the family business the restaurant where you can eat rest and use the wifi while we wait to be picked up for the tour that starts at 7 am at 10 left us the airport where Juan Carlos is waiting for us we flew around 11 am and we were back at noon with enough time for lunch before taking the 2 pm bus to Huacachina. Highly recommended.

We arrived in Nazca early in the morning and were received professionally. For the pastime until we could start the tour and because no restaurant had opened yet, Juan Carlos served us tea and bread and butter completely surprisingly. In a good mood, he gave us the first hints about Nazca culture and contemporary Peru. Thank you! PS: later we booked another tour via get2peru with an external tour provider and were again wonderfully supervised via whatsapp.
Unique experience! They made our stay in Nasca unforgettable.

Juan Carlos is super friendly and helpful. Since we arrived at the Get2Peru agency, he explained everything clearly and we could decide what to do according to our times and priorities. The guide who accompanied us, Carlos, was also excellent. Great knowledgeable of Nasca culture and with whom, in addition, we toured Cahuachi and the Chauchilla necropolis. All these tours were from Get2Peru. We are very happy and satisfied with the experience. We highly recommend the agency.
