  Certainly recommend this cruise for an enjoyable afternoon. Commentary, food and friendly staff, all great. Surprised at the amount of room we had considering the boat was full.

  It was a lovely day . Very well organized food was nice staff friendly and lots did learn a few things about Newcastle Harbour we didn’t know .

  This has to be up there with the best of river cruise experiences. The cruise started and finished exactly on time. The crew were all friendly, efficient and hardworking. The vessel had air conditioned dining / seating down stairs with large windows and open top deck seating. Unfortunately the toilets (2m 2 f) on board are tiny! The lunch was so fresh and plentiful it was plated up for the passengers by the crew from a smorgasbord you could choose from - king prawns, cold chicken, ham off the bone, green salad, cous cous, coleslaw, fresh tiger bread rolls. There was plenty left over for seconds. Followed by alternate individual portion desserts of carrot and mud cakes. The commentary was very informative and interesting as we made our way along the Newcastle Harbour. The only downsides for us was the seating being rather tight and noise levels from group conversations was very loud and made it hard to hear the commentary. Overall, a wonderful day out.

  Staff very attentive. Smooth ride Good commentary Food adequate but do hate queueing up for my food. Tablecloth’s would have been a nice touch.

  I thoroughly enjoyed the luncheon cruise. It was made even better by the professionalism of the crew. A big thank you to Megan who made a solo traveller feel very welcomed. I highly recommend this cruise to everyone. Keep up the great work guys. Thanks again and all the best for 2024.

  I accompanied my wife to the Woy Woy Pleasure Walkers Christmas lunch cruise on 6th December. We set off from Newcastle cruising the Hunter River. We would like to express our sincere appreciation to your wonderful staff. They were so polite and helpful ensuring that everyone of us was happy. Special meals were catered for the vegetarians and the food was ample and tasty, including the desert. Free tea/coffee/hot chocolate was an added bonus. Jay, the musician kept us well entertained with his fabulous selection of songs. We would highly recommend this trip and Nova Cruises to others. Please convey our thanks and appreciation to Pete, the skipper, Noah, Hamish, Ken, Coby and Malia.

  We went on the Luncheon Cruise around Newcastle Harbour to celebrate Father's Day. The food provided was delicious and plentiful and there was even a chance to have a second portion. This option was only taken up by a few on the cruise because the first serves were very generous. The commentary provided by the skipper was very informative and we also had an opportunity to see two large ships enter Newcastle Harbour. We would thoroughly recommend this cruise.

  A really good cruise with a lovely lunch on board a boat with plenty of room and large windows to see the view. The commentary was excellent, as was the service on board. Attention to detail, provision of gluten-free items at lunch, and lots of space on board, made this cruise very enjoyable.
