What To Expect

Night Kayak / GLOW tour is an award winning excursion based out of the beautiful Westin Resort, St. John. Upon arrival "get your glow on" with glow paint and photos (bring your own phone into the water at your own risk). Upon departure be amazed by the clear-bottom kayaks and glow of your kayak. Some clear water parts of the cove allow you to search for marine life below such as pre-historic tarpons and sting rays. Other parts, more murky, create a fun and spooky experience as you paddle along the shoreline. Allow your A-Team of guides to take you on a nocturnal adventure you won't soon forget! Commonly asked questions: Kayaks are 2 person kayaks. Max weight per kayak = 400lbs Max weight per person = 285lbs Minimum age is 4 years old. (Kids are the same price as adults).

St. Bernard was a terrific guide and made our night time excursion a lot of fun. We have great photos of us with fluorescent face paint!! He was informative about the various fish we saw and used his flashlight to show bats and fish jumping out of water. A couple actually made it into the boat! The kayaks were lit and made of clear plastic so we could see the fish swimming underneath us.

The Night Kayak tour was very much enjoyed by our family of four (2 adults and 2 boys, 14 &11). Spencer was a wonderful guide, full of knowledge and funny!

Bernard was amazing! We went out into the calm bay and then BAM! The fish started following our boat. We saw a couple different kinds of fish, and a bat! We even had 3 fish jump INTO our boat! What an incredible experience. Definitely recommend Bernard!

This was definitely enjoyable. We saw lots of tarpon jumping right next to our kayak, and a couple of ballyhoo as well. It is certainly possible for fish to jump into your kayak, they are super close and when they swim underneath you, you can feel it if they bump the kayak (lightly.) I was nervous but it pretty fun. It’s a small group so it was fun to interact with the other guests as well. The paint was a fun touch for the experience but I’m sure we looked crazy walking back to our room. Hailey and Isabella were great, very nice and patient.
