4.00Guide was great! Make sure you bring lots of questions. Advertisement for tríp did NOT, but should specify that you should NOT wear shorts on the tour because… the trip includes a tour of the Barla Temple which has múltiple shrines that you CANNOT visit in shorts.

2.00The guide was a young man, a a student, conducting the tour as a guide. He didn’t share much about the history of Hyderabad or the statues of the main characters or about the city during the walk. He was more of a walking guide than a tour guide. The highlight of the tour was supposed to be a boat ride on the lake in central Hyderabad. The water in the lake had a terrible odor. So much that we declined to go on the tour. Also in order to go on the boat ride, I would have to pay for the tickets and the guide. Ticket prices were not included for the tour. I have been on much better walking tours with guides who made tours exciting with stories of the past. Not such here. We ended the tour early since we weren’t getting much out of it.
