What To Expect
Hoa Lu Ancient Capital
Hoa Lu was the capital of Vietnam during the 10th and 11th centuries, serving as the political and cultural center of the country under the Dinh, Early Le, and Ly dynasties. Located in the northern province of Ninh Bình, about 90 kilometers south of Hanoi, Hoa Lu is an ancient historical site surrounded by dramatic limestone mountains and lush valleys. The capital city was strategically chosen due to its natural defenses and its proximity to both the Red River Delta and the sea. It flourished for more than 40 years before being moved to Thang Long (modern-day Hanoi) in 1010 during the reign of the Ly Dynasty. Today, Hoa Lu remains an important archaeological and historical site. Visitors can explore remnants of ancient temples dedicated to past emperors, such as the Dinh Tien Hoang Temple and the Le Dai Hanh Temple.
Mua Caves
Múa Cave (also known as Múa Cave) is a stunning natural attraction located in Ninh Bình Province, northern Vietnam. It is part of the Múa Cave complex and sits at the foot of Múa Mountain in the Hoa Lư District, which is famous for its dramatic karst landscapes and historical significance. Múa Cave is not just a cave but a cultural and natural landmark that draws visitors for its scenic beauty, historical sites, and the challenging hike that leads to panoramic views of the region. The main attraction of Múa Cave is the hike up Múa Mountain, which is often called the “stairway to heaven” due to its 500 stone steps that lead to the summit. The hike can be moderately challenging, but the reward is a spectacular view of the surrounding landscape, including the Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex and the winding Ngo Dong River that flows through the lush valleys and rice paddies.

5.00I really enjoyed this tour. The activities included cycling and hiking, which made the day active and fun. Our guide was very deaf-friendly. We are deaf, and he took his time to communicate with us using his phone. He made sure we understood the history clearly, which I really appreciated. He was patient, welcoming, and genuinely friendly, with great energy throughout the day. He picked us up right on time, provided a very comfortable ride, and offered us water, which was a nice touch. We had a lovely day overall. I’m fully satisfied with this experience and would definitely recommend it

5.00A good day, with lots of exciting experiences. Very nice guide who can tell you a lot about the places, about Vietnam and Vietnam's history. You had plenty of time to walk yourself too, and it didn't get overly touristy, as it was always perfectly timed with us arriving before everyone else. However, lunch wasn't the best, as it was a mediocre buffet and with a lot of people, where we weren't sure about the hygiene. But overall I would highly recommend

5.00The tour went really, really amazingly well. Don the Superman super guide was excellent. He gave an engaging to her with all the figures, facts, snippet, anecdotes about places we visited & experiences we had, and also advised the best way a place can be experienced. The food on the way was also really good. The Bus was very comfortable. The Driver was really good as well. Overall, a a day really really well spent. Enjoyed my time in Trang An & breathtaking views after hiking up to the dragon and Mua caves.

5.00Was a wonderful experience, I really enjoyed the boat trip and the bicycle route. Dono was a great tour guide all the way, providing us with info about the different sights. The food om the trip was also to our liking. 10/10 would recommend trying this if you have an extra day in Hanoi.

5.00We had a really nice Ninh Binh group tour and a big part of that was our guide. He was very informative, knowledgeable, and kept everyone engaged throughout the trip. What really stood out was how well he connected with everyone, especially children. He kept my 7-year-old entertained throughout the trip at each location, which made the experience very relaxed and enjoyable for us as a family. I also appreciated how well he balanced the time at each stop. We never felt rushed, and at the same time, everything on the itinerary was covered smoothly. A special mention to the lunch provided — it was very good, with a lot of delicious vegan options, which was a pleasant surprise and well appreciated. Overall, it was a well-organized tour with a great guide, and we truly enjoyed the experience. Highly recommended!
