The new clifftop bar area offers stunning sunset views, making it the perfect spot to enjoy a drink and live music. The Baunti Byuutis dancing group provides captivating local performances that add to the festive atmosphere of the event. The Island Fish Fry promises an unforgettable night on the island, where visitors can experience the local culture and cuisine in a unique and memorable way.

What To Expect

The Original and The Best The Norfolk Island Fish Fry is by far the most popular event for our visitors.. Ask anyone what you need to tick off when you come to Norfolk Island - they’ll say the Island Fish Fry. This fantastic event has been operating for over 40 years. Imagine - a feast of local dishes, salads and homemade coconut bread, alongside mouth-watering fried fish that you won’t forget. Your feast overlooks breathtaking coastal scenery as the sun sets - with live music in the background. The dishes include ‘Pilhi’ (savoury banana Slice,) a special sweet potato mash with local herbs called ‘Ana’, coconut bread and delicious coconut pie and cream for dessert. Your evening is completed by local entertainment from the Baunti Byuutis dancing group, on our exclusive Western Side property ‘Orn Dar Cliff’. For those who drive themselves and would prefer to stay for a short time, you can view the incredible sun setting over the ocean. It is honestly one of the most stunning sunsets you will ever witness. We recommend doing the Norfolk Island Fish Fry before the sound and light show! (Wine and beer are available for purchase or you are welcome to BYO drinks)

Fabulous fish and salads, all employees were very friendly, we totally enjoyed the evening ended too early wanted to attend a second night but our timeline did not allow

Prefer using Baunti tours. Seems as though you are rushed through with no time to actually take things in. The dancing could be longer as I noticed that everyone was enjoying themselves.

Had a lovely night the food was fantastic, my family tell me the fish was to die for. and the salads and the banana cake was lovely and easy to make the dancing was absolutely beautiful the young ladies were great

So much food. All you can eat. The deep fried fish is the best I've ever eaten. Trent Christian was a perfect MC / Entertainer. The Baunti Byuutis and their traditional dancing were lovely to watch. The sunset Orn Da Cliff struggled to impress through the cloud cover but the whole evening was none the less thoroughly enjoyable. 10/10

We were part of the “FUNSTARS Fun over 50 holiday’s group with Arcadia”. We attended a few tours with Pinetree Tours each driver we had was very professional, knowledgeable, friendly and helpful assisting on and off the bus. Much appreciated we will be back! K & G Ball of Brisbane Qld Australia.

This event really caters for the oldies. Felt like in a retirement home except the music was way way too loud and you couldn't even have a conversation with your neighbour. The MC sang his own songs which were very boring. Two would have been plenty but he kept going. Nobody liked them much but he had it up so loud, impossible to ignore. Then came the playlist which included Neil Diamond songs and similar horrific things. OMG that was unbearable and it still blasted out at you. Location is good and food was okay but I'd say better to grab a takeaway and find a nice cliff top reserve. Until the food comes out, you have to sit there and take it. I will never forgive them for making me listen to Neil Diamond songs at full volume while waiting for my food.
