Begin your private adventure off of Bali's beaten path with morning pickup at your hotel. Meet your private guide, board a comfortable tour vehicle and set off for the countryside. Head for Taman Ayun Temple, located in the Mengwi Regency. Continue to a local coffee plantation to see the various coffee plants and taste some of the different Balinese coffee varieites produced there. Travel to the Bedugul area for scenic views of Beratan Lake Temple and Ulun Danu Beratan Temple. Visit the Pacung Rice Terrace, featuring sweeping views of the largest rice paddy fields in Bali. Stop there for a buffet lunch with epic views. Your last stop is Tanah Lot Temple, a Balinese Hindu temple perched on a rock in the ocean. Make sure you have your camera ready for fantastic shots as the sun sets. At the conclusion of your private tour, head back to your hotel for drop-off.

Taman Ayun Temple
A royal water temple, built for the kings of Mengwi, Taman Ayun Temple (also known as Pura Taman Ayun and Mengwi Temple) forms part of Bali’s UNESCO World Heritage Site. With some 50 buildings, including many tiered shrines, a moat, river, park, gardens, and streams, Taman Ayun is one of Indonesia’s most beautiful Hindu temples.
Ulun Danu Bratan Temple
Pura Ulun Danu Batur (also known as "Pura Batur" or "Pura Ulun Danu") is a Hindu Balinese temple located in the island of Bali, Indonesia. As one of the Pura Kahyangan Jagat, Pura Ulun Danu Batur is one of the most important temples in Bali which acted as the maintainer of harmony and stability of the entire island. Pura Ulun Danu Batur represents the direction of North and is dedicated to the god Vishnu and the local goddess Dewi Danu, goddess of Lake Batur, the largest lake in Bali. Following the destruction of the original temple compound, the temple was relocated and rebuilt in 1926.

We had a fantastic day with Ketut seeing a very beautiful side of Bali, its culture and its people. We really appreciated his back road knowledge to miss the worst of the traffic!
